He wont walk the streets again in this lifetime....if the DNA matches they can skip the trial and go straight to the Judges summary where the last sentence shall be '....for the term of your natural life.'

I hope so Mrs Norris, I hope so.

This may just be conjecture, but someone posted on Facebook that they believe it was an apprentice butcher.

I have a horrible feeling it's the BF and his brother.....I hope I am wrong for their mother's sake.

What was Chantelle's boyfriend's name again?

D**** P****. I apologize in advance if it turns out he had no connection to this crime and is just another sad victim of this terrible loss.

Chantelle's netball coach, Bridget P****, described her as a happy and bubbly girl.
"My son D**** had been going out with her for a couple of months," she said.
"I am shocked and shook up - how am are I going to tell my son when he gets home from work?
"She was a happy sort of a kid, she was into her netball and her boyfriend. She had just finished year 10 at Gawler High School and worked part time at a cafe at Nuriootpa.
"My other son S** was at their house Saturday night, they were just normal people."

Yeah, I've been sitting on that web page for the past hour. 5mins until it begins!

No chance of a live feed? Have been searching web hoping for one....no go.

From Live Feed.

I'd like to say earlier this evening we arrested an 18 year old kapunda man.
He will be charged with three counts of murder. He will appear in court tonight.
He hopes it is some comfort to the community.
There is limited information he can give tonight.
The community can feel proud in the way they have supported the investigation.
The community should be applauded for their help.
There have been a lot of police working long hours behind the scenes, as well as other services
He can't say whether there will be more arrests.
He won't comment on whether a murder weapon has been found.
Det Supt Moyle says he might hold another press conference tomorrow with more information.
Police have only confirmed an arrest has been made earlier this afternoon. The man was arrested at the Kapunda police station and he will appear before court tomorrow. They will possibly be providing more information tomorrow, saying the matter will now be played out before the courts.

The reason why they can't release many details tonight is that they need a jury who are not biased.

Looks like it will be held at an Elisabeth court tomorrow, but I'm hoping it will be moved to the Supreme Court in Victora Square, Adelaide.

At least there has been arrest after a fairly brief investigation.
This is a much better outcome than some cases I have followed where five years on there is no resolution in sight.

Of course South Australia is where two unsolved cases remain on the books. The disappearance of the Beaumont children and the Adelaide Oval abduction. In NSW there is the unsolved Wanda Beach murders.
There are many others right around Australia.

So, congratulations to all those (police & others) involved in this investigation. Many of them have seen unspeakable scenes. I don't know how they cope at times.

Now we wait for the trial and all the information that will see the light of day.
At least the victims are at peace but they endured horrors none of us can begin to imagine.
Many others have had their lives turned upside down by this crime. It is not only the perpetrator/s who will endure lengthy sentences.

The news report said that it was an ex-boyfriend of Chantelle who committed the murders.

{mod edit}**** ***** If I print the name and it is suppressed by the courts or the wrong person; trouble. To the best of my knowledge it was a disgruntled youth whom shared a history with Chantelle.
