On day four of his murder trial today, O’Dempsey’s former landlord for a unit at Rosalie gave evidence.

Adrian Burton told the court he saw O’Dempsey and three other men “carrying dark garbage bags” from the unit on January 22, 1974.

When Mr Burton later went to collect rent from O’Dempsey, he was gone and the unit was “empty”.
