Come home wee one!

I'd love to know why any news outlet would choose to publish such a cutesy looking photo of a missing child's mother (I'm talking about the one of Tammy wearing a pink tiara that has cropped up a couple of times now). A ridiculous photo to attach to such a worrying story and makes me wonder if has been done to deliberately cause a stir. It seems to be yanked straight off her facebook page, where there are a couple of other photos that would be much more appropriate.

I think they could have used a photographer for a new one, but as far as the pics on Facebook goes, it's the best choice by what I can see.

As I'm hoping and praying for a good outcome for Chloe, some of the things I've read on FB are very worrisome. :(

Does anyone know if LE has ruled out the friend that was at the house drinking? Sorry, but I tried to speed read through the thread and may have missed it. TIA

Police yesterday interviewed a man who was drinking at the home earlier in the evening as they launched a massive air and ground search.

Bundaberg Inspector Kev Guteridge the man was not a suspect. He would not confirm if the family had other visitors that night.

I really don't think this is a random abduction. This feels really bad to me:please:

I agree Seabreeze. My hinky meter is going off big time. I just hope that Chloe is found alive and well soon.

Homicide?

She said the family has no known enemies and keep themselves to themselves.

Ms O'Donnell said she believed her daughter was taken by someone who knows the family.

"Unless they carried her out while she's been asleep, she's obviously known them to not scream or yell out," she said.

Not sure that I agree with the mum's assumption here. Seems to me that it wouldn't be too hard to cover a small child's nose and mouth to stop any noises that may wake the others, as she is scooped up in her sleeping bag with her stuffed toy.

Whether the perp is known to her or not.

She is only a little thing.

Channel 9 news just reported that homicide detectives from Brisbane have been brought in :(

At this point, I think that the mother's pain is genuine and that she had nothing to do with Chloe's disappearance.

Chloe Campbell: Crime scene established at Childers home of missing 3yo girl
Updated 10 minutes ago

Chloe's mother, grandmother and half sister went to Childers police station today for questioning.

About six family friends have also been interviewed this morning and police say more will be questioned this afternoon.

Chloe's parents and their neighbours yesterday helped police with the investigation as SES crews scoured the local showgrounds and nearby bushland.

Family friend Lawrence Riley says police are questioning anyone who may have visited Chloe's home.

Has anyone seen video of Mum giving her interview? I would like to watch.

I don't like saying it, but I don't feel like this one's going to have a happy ending.

I really really hope I'm wrong.

Praying hard for this little one.

Oh dear, this seems to be coming to a head today doesn't it?

In the audio interview with Chloe's mum Tammy, she said she heard the choppers were searching through the night, and kept searching the same areas in town. She said "she's further out than that".

Childers tip/waste facility is on Nissens Lane, which is out on the Isis Hwy.

I have a strong feeling they will find Chloe there :(

I have a 3 year old who regularly falls asleep on the lounge. I never leave her there, and carry her into bed after about 15-20 mins of her falling asleep. she very rarely wakes up when i do this, i have to carry her through the kitchen to her room and because i am small in height, plus 4 months pregnant it can sometimes be awkward and i am often juggling her and trying to avoid her hitting her head on door frames etc! I dont think little Chloe would have woken up necessarily as she was picked up. for them to say it must be someone they know because she didnt wake up and scream is a stretch in my opinion. the last thing i would think is that it was someone i knew, unless a specific threat had been made!
