I can't see a child jumping out of a window in the night, especially with a sleeping bag....she would've only taken her teddy "gnarly". WHY jump out of a window when she could've left through a door when everyone else was sleeping? I think she was bundled up in the sleeping bag and her teddy was already in there with her.
How high is the window from the ground?
How were footprints left on the car? Was it very dusty? (there has been a lot of rain lately.....)
There would have been more than a footprint on the car if someone stood on it to get in the window and then out and down again, with a child in a sleeping bag...it would be very awkward.

the police probably just watching and waiting now for the perp to reveal himself, and he will, and they probably have surveillance in place already.
chloes little mother looks so distraught, her pain must be unbearable.

The sleeping bag/blanket & DNA missing is a worry to me.

Forensics should have done their job around the house and car by now.
Check all phones for location pings and recent calls.

CCTV cameras for cars movements in and around town.

A police spokesman told MailOnline the search continued to centre around Childers and that investigators had began looking in farmland and dams in the area on Friday morning.

I wonder if this is the usual place they park their car.....?
yes, it looks very high...it looks like you would have to jump down from the window...that would leave a dent on the top of your car I would think...

That photo of the house is deceptive - there are others around that show the window above the car is not so high off the ground at all. I'd guess the brick section below is only a metre or so high. Will search for a better view - it's here in live footage somewhere.

I think it is the high window over the car. I believe that 'Queenslanders' usually have living quarters upstairs, laundry rooms and such downstairs.

I hope they have figured out who it was.

A neighbour reported seeing someone near the family home last night, while the Courier Mail reported a footprint was found on the roof of a car parked under Chloe's bedroom window.

Forensic teams have fingerprinted the home and vehicles parked near the property.

Thats exactly what I said Jellybean, it would be so difficult to get the car in there, can't imagine why that would be the regular parking spot. Unless they wanted the driveway clear for their drinking friends cars?
