Just watching the Today Show and Lisa Wilkinson has just interviewed the police, She directly asked him about the "Daddy's Friend" comment, to which he replied they had not been told that directly and she then went on to ask if they thought it was drug related payback? His reply was that they had a line of enquiry that they were following but could not comment because it could jeopodise the case.

BTW Hi

Welcome Vegemite!

You can bet your bottom dollar that an undercover cop was sitting in the pub right near him when Garth was drinking after Chloe went missing.

So he is 36 or 37 now, if he was 34 in late 2011.

That's right Fruity - I just remembered we wondered yesterday how old GC was!

Might the DNA actually be related to something found on some drug paraphernalia?

Like trying to match up something in the home to something to tie it to a dealer or something?

And perhaps having reason to think the persons involved pass through and do drops? Or have a 'courier' in between or something?

Thus talking about someone who has travelled through and also DNA?

I wonder if the whole family is at the home, or just GC?

Looks like GC has had a long term problem with alcohol abuse.

Very sad for these children. The rusty play equipment, the flapping fly screens, the run down house, the inadequate sleeping conditions, the 'boredom' of the mother, the drinking of the father. Too many children live like this ... no matter how much they are loved. :(

As a friend of mine used to say, 'a bit of soap and some elbow grease is all it takes - plus a substance-free mind of course'.

DNA found on her clothes! I think they even specified in some articles the 'outside' of her clothes. I really feel like they've been trying to say without flat out saying it that she was NOT assaulted in any way.

Police have begun talking with Chloe and have collected any possible DNA evidence from her clothes.

I hope they DNA tested any nanas and aunties too .. on the paternal side.

Sunrise news: police are using toys and games to help Chloe reenact her ordeal. They hope to gather more details about where she was, and who she was with.

I was thinking, it might be possible that she can't talk much. I know a few 3 year olds whose vocabularies are very limited. If she's growing up in less than ideal comditions its possible she isn't being read to and talked to enough to develop her speech.

Could this video show Chloe's abduction?

Vital clue emerges in search for Chloe's kidnappers
Security camera pictures show two adults walking with a child after midnight on the night the three-year-old was abducted from her Childers home

Her family is hopeful the two men can be identified using the new clue after Chloe was held hostage for 48 hours over her father's drug debt.

Specialist police will use games and toys to help Chloe open up about the night she was taken.

First of all. and a  for somethingsilent
How wonderful you have managed to get a different lifestyle

Second of all. I used to have a severe drug habit but I was thinking I would not drink if my child was kidnapped, but after your comment I thought, if my choice of drug was not attainable perhaps because of all the stress I would have drunk.
You are right. Addicts or peeps that do drugs, do not know yet how to deal with stress without taking something to calm their nerves (They think it calms) so I was wrong to say he would lose a bit of my respect.

In June I will be clean for exact 15 years.

Back to the case. Okay yesterday all the bad rumours about the family started. If this was all a lie would LE (no idea what it stands for  not say something to stand up for the family? So far they did not do that.

Congrats to you on fifteen years :) it's a long and treacherous journey and I'm glad you made it.

I thought of that too.

I remember before Kiesha was found the police tries to ask her younger sister some questions but she was severely delayed because if her abusive home situation.

Having two older sisters who go to school, Chloe's language might not be too bad. I heard her speaking on the news, she was asking to go home. It wasn't enough to gauge whether she is on track or not.

If that is Chloe in the cctv footage, She is walking along ahead of whom ever is with her. If you are kidnapping someone would you not put yourself in a position of control and not in a position where the child could possibly run off? I have this horrid feeling that GC may have left his child as a deposit / security or was somehow implicated in the situation. TO has woken up found her daughter not home and freaked rang the police and its snowballed from there, that or he has removed the child to be nasty and horrible to TO just because he can and it all went pear shaped
