So after watching the Telstra ad that Papertrail posted I noticed the Telstra technician uniforms for the first time ever. Police have already linked the V1 series holden to atleast one of the crimes so we know it was in use to either abduct or dump.

For this scenario I am discussing abduction

If you were waiting for a taxi, you have had a few drinks and it is dark and a V1 series holden pulled up beside you with a guy wearing that uniform, is it not possible you could automatically think "taxi" and jump in? unless you seen the Telstra logo the uniform looks awfully similar to that of what I see a lot of taxi drivers wearing for example, a shirt and that style of blue jacket.

One step further you could use a fake magnetic taxi roof sign and boom instant abduction bait, even without the taxi sign I'm sure my description of the car and uniform would still be enough to fool some people given the circumstances of alcohol, night time and the fact you are expecting a taxi to show up, all forming "the perfect storm".

JR is seen waiting outside the hotel in the MM video, was this before or after she had called the taxi? if it was after and she was waiting and then the "pseudo taxi" pulls up across the road she gets up and walks over and jumps in thinking this is her taxi and is never seen alive again.

We know JR had ordered a taxi, I can't see her walking off too far considering from the video it appears the taxi rank is pretty close to the hotel, so for me this makes a blitz attack awfully risky within such close proximity to the hotel.

I've been a big supporter of blitz based from KK but in this scenario I find either the ruse of a taxi or charm and offer of a ride the most likely and least risky scenarios.

can anyone confirm if JR had already called a taxi prior to the MM video footage?

Tomato lake was dredged and cleaned out by the Council about a decade ago when the Belmont Council did it all up. The dump sites would probably indicate he was trying to put distance between him and his crimes, therefore unlikely to find anything anywhere near where he lives etc.

just hope and with everything crossed that all the previous owners since Telstra have not been too finicky with detailing the vehicle. with today's forensic testing procedures even the smallest grain of pollen could nail him and needless to say the tiniest tiniest speck of dna from Sarah would be the end all of end all.

Some timing confirmation regarding Telstra VS wagons. Text from a recall notice:

"In December 1995, a recall was issued for Holden VS Commodore wagons that were originally sold to Telstra fleets, fitted with Rhino roof rack ladders and in the product serial number range L818835 to L857194. For these vehicles, the Rhino roof rack was supplied with a standard nut on the ladder restraining strap instead of a Nyloc nut. Every time someone writes a post on here please assume that WAPOL and Francis Burth Chambers are reading it. This is a 'Public Forum' ,this will likely be one of the largest most expensive criminal cases in WA history, there is teams of people currently working on it.

Something people need to understand is that for lawyers(this comes from the mouth of a senior Perth Lawyer) this is not about right or wrong or even if BRE did or did not kill a fellow lawyer, this is about being paid to win a case and they will do anything and everything to win, this is a challenge for them, they do not see it as their responsibility to make moral judgement.

Thankyou for your explanation. Its just that you gave an indication it was fact. But yes more than likely they are paying an organization to track everything that is said. Allege and allegation will now become my favoured words ! I know exactly how legal minds and the system works.

I personally don't think WAPOL ever gave up ! they just had one hell of an internal mess to clean up after the Capornesk years.

I am more talking about a container of trophies buried, not sunk. I have messaged BE on FB & it hasn`t showed as yet it has been seen by anyone logging on under that name. Has BE laid them on the line as previously thought by earlier bloggers? Would SS be closer to JR? I know others have mentioned this. Has BE hinted at other locations near exchanges he has visited?

I find BRE FB post on 22 dec at 455am quite odd. This has been raised before by other sleuthers and on BF. I do not know enough of BRE public FB posts but to make the "eagles nest" comment literally hours before his arrest and so early in the day is odd...is it his final cryptic message? Eagles nest retreat around perth is at gidgiegannup roughly NE of perth amd along with the other dump sites and claremont area forms a rough cross symbol? The retreat is listed as "Eagle's Nest is a formation and retreat centre wholly owned and operated by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Perth".It borders the large walyunga national parlk with what looks like acessible dirt roads one with a culdesac. I understand its a leap but maybe other sleuths have ideas. Credit to BF poster for this location.

According to news reports every single person in that video was identified except MM. If "2nd mm" was BE he would have been on the police radar even as just a name at the scene of JR's last sighting but news reports he only come on the radar within the last few weeks.

I actually think that its simply a suggestion for the name of the new home ground for the West Coast Eagles , hence the Eagles Nest. Nothing more, nothing less. Its very easy to overthink and over complicate these things

Yes I saw that. Obvious DNA linkage finally linking him. Yes I know way back the link bet Karrakatta lady & CG. Me thinks they discounted all Poi`s small & large & thought 'where do we go now?' likely they went back over old evidence gathered. Plus old crimes. Course we know he is linked to the '88 crimes. What I'd like to know is how did he get CG if the cops are darn sure he is linked? And lastly is SS really linked to the other two? They seem pretty sure she is.
