There has been a lot of comments throughout the threads that Mundaring could have been an area utilised by BE. Worth considering.

Absolutely. It makes sense.

Great work!

What kind of vehicle is that? Can anyone tell from those bits of it in shot?

Is it a Land Cruiser? Or a Land Rover? Or something else......

The thing I found most interesting here was the fact his school gym burned down. I'm assuming that the reporter found this relevant because of the known pathway from arson to serial killing. I wonder if there was any word on the street at the time about who did this?

My son currently attends this school (Southern River College) he tells me the gym burnt down early last year..which I vaguely recall...so it also burnt down in the 1980's?

So those pics are of two different vehicles, are they not? The colours and the body shape are different.

My husband seems to think that the first shot is of some unusual, all-terrain adventure vehicle (can you tell I have no idea what they're called?!).

Why would there be two vehicles?

Could it be a Telstra vehicle?

not sure, the pics were definitely together though.

Unless BRE did indeed go along that day, but in a separate vehicle? So they weren't together the whole time.

And then if it was somewhere that he had left a body, he could have visited it by himself.....

Pure speculation on my behalf, obviously.

I don't think the vehicles are linked. A couple of the photos are taken from inside the 4WD they were in. The other one looks like it's taken from the outside and gets the front of the other vehicle. Why is it necessarily their car?

  • #911
Or it could just be that the vehicle in the first shot was parked next to them and has nothing to do with them at all.

The second shot is taken from inside the car, obviously,

And yes, the second vehicle could well be a Telstra vehicle.

I know - I just got that myself!

Ignore my wild speculation! Overly dramatic imagination....

Accused Claremont killer has case adjourned

THE man police allege committed two of the Claremont serial killings sat in the video room at Hakea Prison looking as if he was somehow in the wrong place, that it was all a mistake.

Bradley Edwards wore glasses, a green prison T-shirt and sat quietly with his hands in his lap, his thumbs circling each other.

Clean shaven with his dark hair combed back from his face, Mr Edwards raised an eyebrow and turned his head.

He looked away from the camera beaming his image from the prison into Perth’s grand old Supreme Court building.

Doesn't sound like a man who is throwing hissy fits and spitting in prison

With respect to whoever posted that claim last night, I'm not buying it. I bet my life that most of the urban myths that have been bandied about on this site will be proven ... How shall I put it... Crapola?

The vehicle is an OKA, west australian built, used mainly for touring buses, they have been out of production since 2008, so I am pretty confident it would not be a Telstra vehicle.

All though it is not a nice concept, it does not appear to have been discussed.

The hills of Perth are teaming with feral pigs, they are veracious eaters and would easily devour a human over night. They eat the entire body leaving only the teeth. In the late 80,s I spent the day with the Water Authority pig catcher , he was employed full time to manage the population in the mundaring catchment.

There numbers have increased since that time as have there spread.

That's a bit strange that it was burnt down twice - was it only the gym?

Of course one is going to act well behaved on a camera in front of a judge.. Also...not a "claim".... It was information from a reputable, legit direct source...of course I wanted to know more, but very limited with what they told me.

I know and believe what I was told... More legit than half the crackpot theories thrown about here.
