Am I right saying these pics are from two different versions of same video?
I didn't realise MM appeared in top half of screen. I thought he only appeared in bottom half of screen where he approaches JR and she smiles at him.
Here's two pics borrowed from the previous posters posts to illustrate my point .

This pic shows JR standing CBV side of security bouncers.

This pic shows JR standing train line side of bouncers.
Second pic has been zoomed in.

JR moved a fair way. Do we have footage of her moving position from south side to north side of bouncers?

I thought JR only stood on train side, Gugeri St side of bouncers.

JR and her friends exit Conti, stand by the pole on south side of Conti doorway and briefly chat discussing their next move. Then JR and her friends walk to Club Bay View, but decide not to go in because the CBV entry line is too long. JR and her friends return to Conti as they plan to catch a taxi from the taxi rank on other side of road from Conti on Bay View Terrace. JR at last minute decides to NOT go home with her friends in the taxi, and remains on street stand near pole on train side of Conti doorway. Thats when MM approaches JR from Gugeri St side.

IMO This means MM was not in the pub when he approached her, nor was he seated in outdoor drinking/dining area of Conti, as this outdoor area would always get cleared away in time for close of business at midnight. I reckon MM either came from train line or from Gugeri St. Perhaps he had walked around to the Conti bottle shop to buy cigarettes and then had walked back around the corner and interacted with JR on his way southwards on Bay View Terrace.

IMO MM said something random like "where's my hug cutie" with his one (assume two) hands upturned out to side. JR was impressed enough by MM's comment and interaction to make her smile widely and maybe even giggle. But now I'm thinking she didn't know MM

OK I need to get this off my chest - JR in the real CCTV looks fairly slim-average size, probably around a size 10. Whereas the model they chose to act as JR in the reenactment was much larger in size, more like a size 14. Why would they do this????? Surely they could've found and actress with more similar body shape and features to JR.

All I can add is that there is a man in the front left of video (medium darkness jacket) whose head moves very slightly as JR walks to pole. He may have seen her. Also, I think there were two tall dark haired men in white shirts. MM, and another one.

One more thing I have noticed. JR is standing by a pole right beside a handicapped parking bay! As far as I know taxis don't pull up to pick up passengers in handicapped bays. To me that means she is not waiting for a taxi. She is definitely waiting for a lift from someone. Did someone pull up on Gugieri St and she got into a car well out of camera view? That would explain how she seemed to vanish quickly. MOO

I agree with you, as I think taxis are not meant to stop in handicapped parking bays.
But as I went to Conti years ago in the 90's, I know that both taxis and cars would pause briefly in the handicapped bay if their customers and passengers were right there waiting to get in. Happened all the time.

I think it's highly likely that the footage will become a lot clearer when it goes to trial. I still don't believe that all the footage has been released. My bet would be that the police have footage of JR interacting with someone else and they have never been able to identify that person, and didn't release it for fear of notifying the perpetrator that they had that footage. Not a great tactic but I find it hard to believe that is all they have and haven't been able to enhance it. JMO

Can someone please confirm the colours of clothes that JR was actually wearing?





BECAUSE.........

PLEASE EXPLAIN why the CIA Hunt for a Killer documentary reenactment FAILED to find an actor similar body shape to JR

AND

FAILED to dress the actor pretending to be JR in similar clothing to what JR was wearing when she went missing.


But IMO the reenactment shows JR wearing a BLACK top and BLACK jacket, with the actor wearing the jacket while walking to and from CBV.

Whereas the actual CCTV shows JR wearing a LIGHT coloured top and carrying a BLACK or dark coloured jacket leaving the Conti, and after once she returned from trying to enter CBV, and is now waiting on kerb side at Conti.

This has probably been said before here on WS, but a normal minded person would assume the producer of the documentary would at least get the basics correct, re body shape and correct outfit of JR, when producing a reenactment. Surely???????

Dismal failure IMO.
Disappointed again.

For what it's worth, I coincidentally watched this video footage (link provided in above comment) this morning unaware that there was debate happening on WS about whether the white-shirted man at 23:41 was or wasn't MM. On seeing the footage, I immediately thought 'oh, there's MM, I didn't know he walked past (&turns to look at) Jane before the interaction where he makes her laugh'.

But Spooks you seem certain it's not him. How come?

I thought he must have given a lift to his friend beside him (man or woman?) which may have given him an alibi, and then come back afterwards and walked past Jane again (saying something that made her laugh).
Is that plausible? What was the timeframe between that first interaction (11.43pm) and where we see MM making Jane laugh?

Id like to know if the guy at the top of the screen looking back at her in the first shot, is the same guy near the end of the footage Spooks posted, standing in almost the same place he is above & who looks back at her numerous times not long before she disappears?

Colours are distorted on the vid but that doesnt explain how her blonde hair still appears light & black/blue denim still appears dark...but... Her 'dark blue' top appears light? You are correct, she was not size 14 & looked nothing like the actor. I dont know who her friends were either... Where is friend No. 4?

Kambo, more than 1 ws member has said they've seen a much clearer version.the introduced blur is blatantly obvious, IMO designed to confuse
