If there is any truth in the above, raises a few queries:

1. How did CB know that there was a SK hunting and SS was his second victim?
2. Who is CB referring to as the first victim?
3. CB is insistent that she knew something and that they were copying her and DB - in what way?

Just theorising - guess there were similarities with Stirling Highway, anything else, dumpsite perhaps?

If those photos are taken around the time of his arrest the car was not used in a demo derby .... I know it has all sorts of coloured panels on it
This is the clue that it was not a demo derby car ... if you planned on restoring it you would not put it into a demo derby first ... most of these cars were trashed after the event , were not road worthy before it , and death traps after it

I think you can safely rule that car out of a demo derby

All we can go on is the word of Trueblue VI who has said that BRE and CGe didnt meet until 1998ish, the car was hers and it was seen in the driveway at Acton Ave until the end of 2011. Seems very unlikely that SS was anywhere near that car IMO. Was there a demo derby somewhere at the end of 2011, I dont know?

IIFC Trueblue also said that BRE had his own personal car at the time of the abductions. Thats the one I'd be interested in knowing more about. Anyone up for putting together a time lapse on Fountain Way?

2. Julie Cutler as the first victim. Numerous reports have said her family were told she may have been the first victim. Were cops told that by one or both Birnie's perhaps?

3. Copycats are using the male and female SK Birnie model. Katich is still saying in the last reports on Julie Cutler they wanted to speak to the male and female seen leaving the function just after Julie. Female reported in the cab with a male and SS the night before she was abducted. Droc reports a taxi driver and female abducting girls.

For me, her car almost impossible being dumped in the water at Cottesloe Beach raises questions why there? Especially with the damage that had occurred to the car, it's the most unlikely place to dump the vehicle.

For this reason IMO it was very important for someone for it to be there and because of the weird straight line going through Bay View Tce joining CG and JP, it's a sick SK mapping murder.

According to Paul Kidd, author of Australia’s Serial Killers, Mary went to a spare-parts yard where David worked and he told her she should come by his house.
Mary turned up at the killer couple’s home in Moorhouse Street in Willagee, in Perth’s southwest.

Lots of burnt tree references made over the years. Kerryn Tate 1979 found off Brookton Highway. Annette Deverell 1980 found Waroona Dam 1982. Kerry Turner 1991 found Canning Dam. Darylyn Ugle 2003 found Mundaring Weir.

Let us make it simple. Maybe Birnie knew the alleged CSK from when he was a kid. Maybe they were in social networks that intersected? Maybe David and Catherine were closer to the alleged CSK than assumed? Too bad that visitor logs at prison are not public.
But the reality is probably that Catherine Birnie was just big noting and was untruthful. The author assumed that she was talking about Sarah McMahon, and the coroner's inquest makes it plain that she's not a CSK victim.

Agree entirely with the big noting , when your only visitors are likely to be vultures looking for a story you would say anything to keep them coming back
