I have in my notes details from an article published in the West Australian "Grave Sites Follow Pattern" from 4 April 1997 that says

"Miss Glennon's body was dumped on the south side of a gradual rise on Pipidinny Road, about 2.5km from Wanneroo Road.

Prolific acacias and grass trees on both sides of a wide sand track capable of being used by a car marked the spot where her body was found.

The track led into the bush and curved past a sharp drop about 40m from the road."

Thanks DRT, there has been recent media reports based on court proceedings indicating that Prosecution/ WAPOL believe both CG and JR were sadly murdered at the sites where they were found (reported in previous WS threads). Therefore, why would the CSK choose a location close to houses to take CG? As I mentioned earlier, there was a scream heard from one of the inhabitants of nearby property around the time CG went missing, why take this risk?

The attached from Devils Garden also mentions that the person who found CG says 'Whoever did this is one sick ****' and then was asked to sign a confidentiality agreement and that he will not divulge what he has seen to anyone ever. What did he see - are there aspects of the crime scene which have not been reported?

Does the name Pipidinny have a significant meaning?

I’m aware the accused worked for Telstra as a technician - Kewdale depot. Did the Kewdale depot deal with the laying of new infrastructure or maintenance of existing infrastructure (customer service delivery).

If he worked within the service delivery he may not have necessarily known Telstra were laying cable in the area – because that would be a separate division.

Does anyone know what they actually did at Kewdale? Field Services?

Searching through the real estate property data usually reveals the year the house was built. According to Google Earth there’s only a few houses in that road. Just looking at GE will show if the house is new or an older established home.

I have recently driven down the Pipidinny Road and was actually surprised how short the road was between Wanneroo road and West Coast Highway - between 5 to 7 min drive.

Does anyone have the exact coords where CG was found? I believe CG was found near a horse riding farm, so CG must have been found very close to Wanneroo Road.

This is also supported by the attached article which mentions that the labourer who stumble across the CG runs directly to the nearby house of his boss - reinforcing that CG was found fairly close to houses (Source Devil's Garden).

Telstra workers are also working in area as previously discussed on WS.

One question which could be raised is why was CG left close to houses when there was open areas left to leave her? Also was there a reason CG was left close to Telstra workforce?

Also could Ciara Glennon have been kept in a property near where she was dumped? MOO

There was a house about 500m away, CG was found on the edge of a farm, not empty land. Which is my point really, why take CG to an area which has houses?

Also with JR, she was very close to the prison.

He either wanted JR and CG to be found easily or he was being arrogant and put the bodies in plain sight to “display” them. SS for some reason was “kept” by being put somewhere much harder to find. It’s as if CSK wanted to hide her so only he knew where she was. Almost as if SS was covetted but the others were discarded. MOO

Hi nbates - was SS his first or had he killed in other areas? Was she special in some way? - she was a very young, happy confident young lady - maybe the kind of girl he would never be able to attract for some reason. Maybe he felt it was a great achievement to take this girl. Why was her body hidden so well as to never be found? I feel that fact alone makes her different to the other ladies JR and CB. MOO

Hi Annalise, I think regarding SS maybe being treated differently is she was so young too so perhaps some initial remorse, cover her up, what have I done? As NBates said too (thanks NBates for that comment) she was supposedly his first murder (there may be others though for all we know?) so he wasn't as sure of himself? And, I think he wanted the notoriety of the victims being found, (he would go on to be world famous if he was a serial killer, in his twisted mind) and SS not being found was frustrating him

(a totally different method of disposal of the body/dump site, water perhaps involved?) ​

so he "displayed" JR and CG (good word for it Annalise, part of a ritual developing for him now?). The CSK seemed to thrive on the thrill of doing things "right under the noses" of everyone (going back to Claremont 3 times, with all that surveillance, people looking for him) therefore the closer to others he could get without being caught, the greater the thrill maybe? The idea of someone perhaps seeing him, from a distance, but not catching him, too smart, too quick? JMO

The nearest house was over one km away. Even today there is thick bush as far as the eye can see, even though Marmion ave has come past and new subdivisions have been established. No riding school that I know of and wasn't the scream heard in Peachy Rd carpark just after SS went missing. There was a Telstra transformer about 50 m away that the workers most probably were working on. Don't think road was sealed in 1997.

IMO this location was the most remote and where she was placed was not near any tracks and very lucky she was found after only 14 days by allegedly someone checking some plants he was growing in the area.

Properties which keep horses usually have secure fencing around the perimeter. Could it be possible, a hay shed or the like,might have been assessable on the outer perimeter. A secluded place for committing evil. JMO.

The Gay St property was 3 acres, and some of the neighbouring properties were 5 acres. The accused was familiar with horse properties because he was raised around the owners of horses. As stated in other threads.

Or maybe SS involved an accomplice who freaked out about what they done and insisted upon hiding the body, or the outcome was unintended so the perpetrator panicked? Or both.
Problem with the first scenario is how much he'd trust an accomplice to keep quiet.
Maybe, Subsequently he went out upon his own, or planned for the contingency better?

To confirm, there was a scream heard from someone who stayed on the property where CG was found, I know this as fact. All people who lived on the property were interviewed by WAPOL when CG was found.

Hi Lampy....if you look at pics on Google map for eagle view lookout there is a photo of a futuristic person & robot thingy with very similar markings to the graffiti at Rocky pool......strange coincidenve
