Very interesting stuff on Ch 7. Said DNA from a stolen kimono left at the scene in the 1988 attack that was sitting in storage for 28 years was re-tested months ago and provided the link to BE.

Very interesting indeed. A stolen kimono left at the scene of the 1988 attack? If it was stolen (ie. not belonging to either the Huntingdale victim or to BE himself) I wonder to whom it originally belonged?

Edit: Or did BE steal the kimono from the Huntingdale 1988 victim and left it at the scene, perhaps dropping it outside the house as he was making his escape?

No doubt we will eventually find out.

How did they have his dna 4 months ago?

Im also wondering how and why his dna is on record. Maybe just one of the 4000+ harrassed from earlier!
I'd assume he shouldn't be working at Little Athletics and such had he had a serious record of any kind

I wonder how they came to this? Did BE cooperate and tell them where SS was, or did Macro just do the obvious and search this property?

I've always felt SS was south but further out but if BE is the CSK then that increases the chances of East IMO. Whipping out to Parkie or Gidgee when you live in Kewdale is not that much of a stretch.

If it was my child murdered I would want the whole world tested :) if you have nothin to hide it's not really a big issue is it? I'm genuinely asking.

My guess is as part of the CSK case they looked through every cold case sex attack and compared the DNA to see if they could link any other crimes. They possibly linked Huntingdale some time ago. And in the last couple of weeks somehow matched it to BE's DNA. Someone mention Ancestry.com. Maybe that.

Maybe when they went through old cases and came across the Huntingdale case they tested evidence, found a DNA profile, found it match CSK, then noted one BE was the main suspect in Huntingdale and then went and got his DNA (shaowed him and waited for him to drop a ciggie but or drink can in a bin) and when matched, went in for the kill.

Will be interesting to find out how it all unfolded.

It's an issue.

I agree test as many people as possible to find the culprit.

Why I don't like is when suspects are publicly accused whether it be through this forum, the media or wherever, then once the perp is caught, an apology should be given to that accused. I don't care what creepy stuff may have seen them be accused, an apology is still warranted.

If I was ever falsely accused, an apology would be nice.

There were allot of people accused of this crime, so if you were one of the accusers, now's the time to apologise.

Fair enough. I just don't get why. They were not legaly allowed to keep the specimens were they?

  • #831
Not me :) have nothing to appologise for.

The Madora address, which I have, if it's allowed, explains why SS and JR were south of the river. Well I'm suggesting SS is south.

There is a massive amount of bushland next to the Madora house. May need a forensic search through it all.

All good, not saying you should, just some people, not just from this forum, were pretty sure it was someone else.

The only person here who was sure it was someone else is dead.

So many peoples names thrown around and I still have no clue who half of them were lol.

Controversially and rather stupidly this taskforce invited members of the public to ring in and nominate suspects. These mostly innocent people were then interviewed and DNA tested, in other words harassed. There were over 4000 suspects! . I was later nominated as a suspect and interviewed and DNA tested only to be cleared and then 15 years later interviewed again and cleared in June, 2011 as were another 2000 innocent men!

If they had nothing else to go on, I'd think I'd be more than happy to clear myself over and over again if it narrowed things down for them.

Maybe that's just me.

I think you're mistaking ruling people out with accusing people.
