Stou Daniels, Davy Malu Junior Taiao and Trent Michael Thrupp were found guilty of the pair's murder for a second time following a retrial.

Justice Glenn Martin said they had engaged in "appalling conduct" when he sentenced the trio in the Queensland Supreme Court on Thursday.

"It is difficult to imagine the immense terror they felt in the hours leading up to their deaths."

I am starting to believe in the Old Testament type of justice for these kinds of people. The old ‘eye for an eye’ type of justice. Why let them live their lives out in some prison where the taxpayers will have to feed them and house them. Why not do to them exactly what was done to their victims. Maybe the families will have some solace knowing these people won’t be out on the streets anymore.
