GUILTY Australia - Dean Shillingsworth, 2, found in suitcase, Ambarvale, NSW, 11 Oct 2007

It makes you wonder whether some of these judges have any compassion. By their lenient sentences they prove they don't have brains.

Too true Cali....epecially in the case of a childs murder..the little boy was 7 when he was killed...he could have quite easily lived til he was 90( long lives run in both sides of his family) so in my way of thinking the murdering scum should have got 83 years.

He should have got life, never to be released. Sorry these latest murders relating to children have brought back memories of your own family's loss Dingo. Hope you are okay, you know where I am if you need an ear.

I just reread that link Angelmom and realised that it also said that 100 children died in NSW last year even after being reported to DOCS:eek: ..that figure is staggering and these children cant kept being swept under the carpet..its time for the buck to stop.

I think it's worse than that. I think these judges are either guilty themselves of "anger management" problems (violence, at home or whatever) or either they are simply as sick as the perps. The judges have to hand down SOME time in these cases, but go lightly.

Dingo, I"m so sorry for your family's loss.

.

I often wonder if these monsters ever take a moment to think of their victims and the life they snuffed out.

Frontal lobe (reasoning) brain cell function isn't a normal for these types, they act on emotion solely. And then claim "it wasn't their fault..."

i haven't seen anything on the news about this case since the arrest.does any one know what is going on?

Proberly wont hear much until the court case starts CC.

From December 2009:

She murdered her beautiful toddler in the most abhorrent way - swinging little Dean Shillingsworth around by his hooded top until he choked, before packing his body in a suitcase and tossing it into a dirty pond.

But justice has found its way to murderous mother Rachel Pfitzner, a judge jailing her for more than 25 years...

Justice Hilme said she would have received 30 years had she not pleaded guilty before her trial.
