In an interesting twist, his grandfather is missing from another part of NSW

Family on facebook are saying there is no connection between the two disappearances. Media reports suggest that Dylan's motorbike is still missing, but social media says it was found intact 9 days after he disappeared. Will try and find a media source.

No updates. Facebook page posts from his mom recently. Seems to be quite a number of young men with similar profiles to Dylan, age, weight, height, gone missing in the last few years with no trace whatsoever. Vehicles turning up, days, weeks, months after. All within the Sydney/Gold Coast area? Thoughts?

My mistake, the dyslexia got the year boggled. This was three years before that incident. But still interested to note patterns.

A woman has been extradited from New Zealand over the alleged murder of a man from the state’s Central West four years ago.

Robert Dickie, aged 71, was last seen leaving his Elong Elong home on Tuesday 14 June 2016.

His family reported him missing two days later and inquiries were commenced by detectives from Orana Mid Western Police District under Strike Force Gavin.

During the course of the investigation, detectives determined that Mr Dickie had been murdered. Despite a number of forensic searches, his body has not yet been located.

Following extensive inquiries, Strike Force Gavin officers applied for and were granted an arrest warrant for a woman in September 2017.

After inquiries revealed the now 47-year-old woman was living in New Zealand, detectives requested assistance from New Zealand Police, who arrested her at a home unit in Auckland on Tuesday 7 April 2020.

The woman was taken to Auckland Police Station and processed on the NSW arrest warrant, before appearing at Auckland District Court, where her extradition to NSW was approved pending travel restrictions under COVID-19.

Earlier this week, detectives from Orana Mid Western Police District travelled to Auckland and after being granted clearance for the extradition, escorted the woman on a flight, and arrived at Sydney International Airport about 10.45am today (Thursday 25 June 2020).

Due to the current Public Health Orders for returning international travellers, the woman was detained at the airport while the arrest warrant was executed, and she was charged with murder.

She was refused bail and appeared via AVL to Central Local Court today.

The woman has been remanded in custody and will next appear at Dubbo Local Court on Wednesday 19 August 2020.

Seems strange that there is said to be no connection between Dylan’s and Robert’s disappearances in light of the recent arrest. What are the odds?

There's more than what I'm posting below at the link but the grammar is unclear and I don't think it's super-relevant anyway. I found another article but it was paid to read, so I can't access it.

The family of missing Cessnock teenager Dylan Dicky sees a colonial inquest after the fifth anniversary of his disappearance.Newcastle Herald - Sydney News Today

More than 1800 days after Dylan Dicky disappeared as a hunter, his family wants a colonial investigation to reveal what happened to teenagers on June 2016. .. Investigations into Dylan’s disappearance and suspected death were approved.

...sbm

Dylan’s father, Damian Dicky, said yesterday, “It was a long and difficult time with no real answer.” “”[It is the] Dylan’s disappearance was one of two tragedy that struck the Dicky family one after another in 2016. A week before he disappeared, Dylan’s grandfather Robert Dicky went missing from Elon Elon, 71, northeast of Dubbo. Last year, a woman was expelled from New Zealand and charged with murder on suspicion of Robert Dicky’s death. There is no suggestion that the two cases are related.
