Australia - Frances Crawford 49, found dead after suspicious lawn mower accident in Queensland.

Same source:
It was also noted that a tracking device was not an option to monitor Crawford's whereabouts because his property 'does not have the full coverage network which administers monitoring devices'.

TBH, Marisela Botello's murder comes to mind. Her crazy murderers, Lisa Dykes and Nina Marano, easily cut the devices and ran away, to be found in Vietnam. I assume the devices may be not that reliable.

Since a traditional ankle monitor won't work, can we snap a lawn mower to his ankle?

How about some kind of animal keeping tabs on him, like a pitbull or a flock of angry geese.
Or a flock of angry women. He seems to have had one in every port, they might not be so happy to see him this time around.

Buyer beware.

I wonder if they will chuck him back in jail if he is committed to trial.

Crawford's murder charge is due to be heard next on October 8 at Ipswich Magistrates Court for committal proceedings.

It's not the devices, it's the network. I'm guessing he's not got the coverage on his property for the ankle monitor.

I lived rural in NSW, and there was no phone signal ten minutes outside from the largest town in the area - which was an hour from where I actually lived. The only internet was satellite broadband, and if I told you what I paid for the privilege of 12GB a month, slower than dial up, you'd pass out.

Likely the monitor uses the same towers as mobile phones, in which case, he'd need to be in town.

The father of Robert Crawford, put up $250,000 bail for his alleged murderous son, who tonight, is sleeping in their formerly shared home in the Upper Lockyer Valley, Queensland.

The children of Frances are pleading for the public to help them by supporting their 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 with ongoing support for mental healthcare, and other costs to help them reestablish their young lives.
So the grandchildren are appealing for financial support due to hardship from losing their mother and their grandfather bypasses them to hand over 250k to bail out their loser father?
Seems a case of the apple not falling far from the tree.

Does it matter that much if he’s just out of service on the property? I mean he’d be leaving the property regularly, surely, to shop, meet dates, get petrol, hookup etc etc so he’d connect not long after leaving home. Couldn’t they put one on him and order him to go out each day so he’d connect? Is his Dad rich enough to not care about the bail money? Who’s watching him?

Well, that's essentially what he's doing, sans device. Regular check-ins. Old school. The way they have to do it basically everywhere that isn't metro in this country if someone is out in the community prior to trial.

And there he is looking “tanned and relaxed” outside the Toowoomba Police Station.

He probably doesn't care.
He does not.

But stripped of his mask, that of the pilot, the sex machine, the cool, the well-off, he won't fare that well. Rather, what is perceived as "this is Bob. He is a dynamo, you know", will be seen for what it really is.

BTW, do you know if testosterone supplements are OK for pilots? (Just a general question.)

Hard to believe they gave him bail considering his dodgy tactics with his passport (among other things).
I mean, seriously, they took his passports for good reason - then he went ahead and applied for another one.

On 5 August 2024 police seized two passports from Mr Crawford,' read the prosecution's submission, seen by Daily Mail Australia.

'Despite this the applicant then applied for a further passport on 24 September 2024.'

As part of that application Crawford declared he was reporting the 'loss, theft or damage,' of his passport and provided an expired passport.

Why, he's watching himself of course. Constantly. In the mirror.
