awhile ago....
someone from oz suggested in a ws thread with mostly American followers how NSW police where one of the most corrupt in the world.
It jarred me at the time and I thought that's a bit harsh and dramatic however....
That comment has stayed with me and slowly over time, sunk in .

edited to add.... incredible investigative journos are the backbone of our justice system atm....these brave resourceful people are bringing public pressure to decades upon decades of non acceptable circumstances.

Funny isn't it K-mac that Jubelin gets crucified when he was only doing his job IMO & nothing happens to these cops who destroy vital evidence & hinder investigations

I've just read a book by a former QLD cop ( in the 80's around the time of the Fitzgerald inquiry ) who worked UC ( under cover ) where they were expected to take drugs etc

The book is called Drugs, Guns & Lies by Keith Banks. Fascinating read. How the corruption was back than & how the cops used all these under cover cops who developed drug habits & the force had no responsability.

Gary has done 2 episodes also with Keith on his podcast I catch Killers.......well worth listening to

I know Tootsie, I've tried my best to keep Janine's case alive over the years. With all the "issues" with the case, alot of the media have not wanted to touch it & the family have also had their hands tied so to speak.

BUT , it's time now for justice for Janine!!

There are alot of good cops in the NSWPF, a hell of a lot, but as in every profession there are bad apples that give everyone else a bad name IMO

And IMO alot of the bad apples seem to make their way up the ladder.............

The NSW Police Force is much changed from the past, the rogue cops era.

There are all sorts of checks and balances now and for many years, and I for one have been impressed at times when they didn't hesitate to take action against a police officer now and then who does the wrong thing.

I had for the moment, forgotten about the treatment of Gary Jubelin which I don't agree with at all.
He is a good man and doesn't deserve the treatment he received IMO

Or the part about journo's lifting dirty rugs for a look underdeath?
Do you think the police would have brought charges to Chris Dawson without Hedley Thomas showing the failures and corruption there??

There are amazing police in nsw!
Things are def improving. But the damage over the years can not be ignored.
One bad egg contaminates a whole cake. Thats just the reality.

I miss you and you are too good for him etc makes me think ex husband, others make me think someone else..

So I'm a little suss on the Scott heiman she kissed in the club. Did he come back? Was he dirty he didn't get sex from her at the end of the night. Is that why she puts both hands out as she walks toward the car? As if to go 'hey how are you" like she knew the guy. Also is he the same guy in the red car as the guy who tried to ask the other lady "can I ask you something" Scott is very bush savvy, bush survival likes knives and hunts and skins animals, ex security AFP and now has heiman habitats. Would be someone who could hide a body never to be found or a person who wanted to be protected and go off grid. I think he is talking now on podcast and newspapers because its exposure for his business free advertising. Maybe the guy in red car thought the other lady was Janine and the pick up was arranged? She looked similar, there is a pic of her blurred in face but similar long hair. What do you all think
