Any news on the bone testing?
No nothing yet, what I could found, only this:

(AI Overview)

"A bone fragment found during a private search related to the disappearance of Joanne Ratcliffe and Kirste Gordon is currently undergoing forensic testing. The bone, potentially a small human pelvis, was discovered at a property in Yatina, South Australia, which was formerly owned by a person of interest in the case. Forensic experts believe the bone fragment may be human remains, and if confirmed, further investigations will be conducted to determine if it's connected to the girls' disappearance.

 Key Details:
Bone Discovery:
A bone fragment was found during a private search for clues related to the disappearance of Joanne Ratcliffe and Kirste Gordon from Adelaide Oval in 1973.
Forensic Examination:
The bone fragment is currently being forensically tested by Major Crime detectives to determine if it is human remains.
Potential Link:
A forensic anatomist has indicated the bone is likely part of a small human pelvis and may contain embedded glass.
Yatina Property:
The bone was found at a property formerly owned by Stanley Arthur Hart, who was previously a person of interest in the case.
Previous Ruling:
South Australia Police previously ruled out Hart as a suspect, but will now investigate further if the bone is confirmed as human.
Private Investigation:
The bone was discovered by a private investigative team following up on a credible tip.
Ongoing Search:
The team is continuing to search the area, including a property and a fence line, with the aid of cadaver dogs and geologists.
Hope and Caution:
While the discovery offers hope, authorities are urging caution and reminding people not to raise false hope, according to the Police Commissioner.

Coroner releases findings after convicted pedophile Errol George Radan, key suspect in 1973 Adelaide Oval abduction, dies in prison

"A prolific child sex offender believed to be linked to the mysterious abduction of two girls more than 50 years ago has likely taken secrets to the grave after dying in his cell in Queensland.

Errol George Radan died on October 26, 2022 after spending almost four decades locked up in Queensland’s Wolston Correctional Centre. He was aged 83.

Radan was imprisoned in Queensland in 1984 on heinous offences of indecently dealing with a girl under the age of 14 and carnal knowledge and had been kept in custody under an indefinite detention or der.
At the time of his death, Radan was considered a key suspect in the disappearance of Joanne Ratcliffe, 11 and Kirste Gordon, 4, from South Australia’s Adelaide Oval on August 25, 1973."

In my estimate, no.

Beaumont children (ages: 4, 7, 9) groomed in public. Their groomer(s) planned to return them. Something went wrong.

Kirste (age: 4) taken abruptly in public with Joanne (age: 11) in protest.

Due to technical difficulty... ad rem again.

It suggests previous experience of child abduction. To abduct 2 girls in broad daylight at a busy sports stadium isn't his first crime. He was confident enough to do this, do we have any similar child abductions before or after this crime? There is a resemblance to the Beaumont childrens disappearance but 7 & 1/2 years is a hell of a long time between crimes. Was he serving a prison sentence, deployed overseas with the military?
Not familiar with Australia or it's crimes, just found this while checking out classic Australian cars & a Ford Falcon led me into Australian true crime!

In my estimate, the abduction does suggest previous experience by one person. The perpetrator was confident enough to do the abduction on his / her / their own, though it did take a while at the football match to draw up enough courage to do so. This suggests to me... first abduction... prison sentence... years delay... tentative escalation... second abduction... no prison sentence.

I put forward this name... Neville Dolling. He is on criminal file with SAPOL. He is now deceased.

I put forward that the abduction of eight-year-old Wendy Pfeiffer by Dolling in October 1966 is a copycat abduction of the Disappearance of the Beaumont Children in January 1966. Dolling was sentenced to 12 years jail in 1966.

Was he parolled from jail before 25th August 1973?

Missing: The Abduction Of Wendy Pfeiffer

It appears to be a leap linking Neville Dolling to the abduction of Joanne Ratcliffe and Kirste Gordon from a crowded Adelaide oval in 1973 (that's what this thread is about) on the strength of him abducting Wendy Pfeiffer from a rural setting 500 metres from a dairy farm in 1966.

I'm not familiar with the Wendy Pfeiffer case but it preceded the Adelaide oval case by 7 years. That is very unusual to begin with.

Read that Dolling appears to have spotted Wendy Pfeiffer in church. He subsequently abducted Wendy by stopping in his car and coercing her over to it in a location where there was probably nobody around. Dolling stabbed Wendy 3 times in the chest and left her for dead in a reserve. Miraculously and thankfully, Wendy survived.

From what I can see the Adelaide Oval and Wendy Pfeiffer cases could hardly be more different. They also occurred 7 years apart.
