Did you see the post below from one of AR's friends? Is she talking to 'us' or to KR?

Do you think Daily Mail is dropping us a hint as to which 'person of interest' has gone silent?

Have thought about this case a fair bit.

On face value there are two scenarios in my mind.

A. Karen has left the house for a walk to clear her head.
B. Karen did not leave the house.

The area behind the house is vast as it also has a defence dept facility.

I wonder if the police have exhausted all line of sight cctv or arced the property. There could be some sighting however small may bring a breakthrough.

My first impression was the look on the husbands face during the press conference, as i dont know him im unsure but the look to me was puzzlement on his part. Didnt know how to react.

The stranger behind the house is the most probable i think, some sick person the law has let slip through.

Milleara Road: Could phone pings have led them there, or was a car picked up on CCTV?

Interesting about a witness clamming up, wonder if he's hired a lawyer?

IMO it's Borce that's gone silent.

I think after having a reporter ask you if you'd killed your wife, the step son flinging accusations around about Karen and telling the world you don't have the guts to kill her I would hire a lawyer and shut up as well.

Didn't Borce's brother say that police had interviewed a 52-year-old man and the police quickly refuted it, I think maybe it was correct and the police passed it off so as to not scare this 3rd person into silence or fleeing. Hmm

The 52 year old man that was interviewed is Borce, not a 3rd person.

Detectives from the missing persons squad have confirmed they questioned Mr Ristevski about his wife's disappearance last Friday. He has since been released pending further inquiries.
"A 52-year-old Avondale Heights man was interviewed on Friday," a police spokeswoman said. "The investigation remains ongoing."
Police have also searched Ms Ristevski's house and the surrounding area.

Wonder if the Milleara Road site is of interest after someone said they saw KR getting on a bus? There's a bus interchange and quite a few bus stops not far from where KR would have entered Milleara Road. If in fact the sighting was credible and if KR actually walked to Milleara Road.

I agree I think its Borce that has gone quiet, the fact it wasn't said that he was speaking to the police in the article stood out to me.

I think the PoI who's clammed up is her brother-in-law (husband's brother). To me, there has always been something very 'off' about him.

I don't think the fact her phone hasn't been used is relevant - if she had planned to disappear or leave her husband then she probably had a burner phone at the ready.

Not being picky but does anyone know if we have "burner phones" in Australia? I have seen them on tv shows from the USA. I have had prepaid net when travelling and you have to give your license details, nicker size etc to get it activated I am gathering the same with a phone?

We used to, not sure if we do now .. you could still just buy different sim cards and swap them between old Nokia style phones anyway I think .. same effect.

I keep coming back to the "none is as it seems" quote.

If Karen had left of her own accord, which i could accept as a possiblity. If this was the case, a mother would surely love to reassure a daughter she was alive.

This is the point that stops me believing it was orchastrated by karen.

I don't think any of us are eating our words as yet, or have egg on our face. Just because it's in MSM doesn't mean it's true IMO.

Sounds like they're gearing up towards an arrest to me .. silence, followed by a last ditch attempt for info from the public before they bring the hammer down.

It is set up on Millieara rd because that is the main road in Avondale Heights. Let's not write fan fiction.
