Approaching one year, I cannot fathom how Sarah can still be living in the same house as the "number one suspect" in her mother's murder. How can she mourn the loss of her mother in his presence? Bizarre!

Anniversary times are so hard on family members. Putting myself in Sarah's shoes, she is in a terrible position. I would imagine feeling incredibly torn.

Excellent!!! This is all over the morning TV news as well.

Police are specifically calling for others driving in the 'convoy' of other cars seen around the car to come forward. They appear to be trying to get a little more evidence to lock in that it was Borce driving Karen's car in that place (Digger's Rest) ... an area he apparently said he didn't drive to, on that day.

They are being pretty specific in the morning TV news. Not holding anything back.

Borce says he drove to the Calder Park Raceway and back, but CCTV has the car at the railway crossing at Digger's Rest at 11:12am, that day.
I would imagine the phone pings will be in the vicinity at around that time, too.

Wonder if the video footage released to the media is of the same quality as that held by the police. The article says her body MAY be in the car, would be tricky getting that car down a bush track. Noticed in one of the cctv clips that there was a 4wd following about three cars back, VR????????????? Good to see something happening as we approach the one year mark.

Another article ... shows clearly the other cars seen in conjunction with Karen's car. Police have already interviewed several drivers of these vehicles.

Remember the evidence that was sent to the US for further analysis? I wonder if it was the CCTV recordings? I wonder if specialists can gauge if there is extra weight in the car, in the boot, in the back, on the passenger seat. If there is only one (live) person in the car, and the driver's approximate description etc etc.

Enough to put police on a strong trail, but not quite enough certain proof for court.

Sounds as if police have got a good timeline together, between the car CCTV sightings and the pings ... Borce's pings at Diggers Rest, Karen's pings at Gisborne ... all on the way to Mt Macedon.

Police have also eliminated the Mercedes from being anyone else's. There are only 4 or 5 other Mercedes that they have not been able to locate. They are hoping that this widespread announcement will bring those last few car owners forward.

I live around the areas that have been discussed and travel the Diggers Rest road towards Toolern Vale very often. From Karen's house to the spot she was found the most direct route would be along the Calder Freeway. By going through Diggers Rest is actually a significant detour.
Just my opinion though.

I'm sure that they have a lot more than the little snippets they are releasing, Itsapuzzle. Sounds as though they need just a little more corroboration before the Prosecutor will allow charges to be laid.
