Where did the gambling rumour come from?

Remember also among the ant nest rangs where cheques for pokie wins, the family that gambles together maybe? pokies suck people in so badly.

I feel like there is something in this case we know nothing about.

The gambling story came from Karen's cousin Steve Richardson a few days ago upthread...
He is a WS member.

Karen went for a walk and took $800+ cash with her.
Was it the day's profit, wages or till. Why?
Was it because Borce wanted that money or Karen may have been the big spender and Borce was trying to save.

I s'pose that's irrelevant because Karen was murdered because of that catalyst.
Someone went ballistic and someone was ultimately silenced.

The poor woman is dead, she lost.

Does her immediate family care or just biding their time.
BR waiting.
SR waiting.
Karen's brother and real friends waiting.
Our boys in blue waiting, for what?
The same outcome...an arrest.

Broadmeadows store ceased trading in February 2016...
only 4 months before Karen's death...the same time that the caveat was put on the home, as well as Karen's resignation as Director of Warrant Brands.

That's right Borce said the store was closed down in Feb because they had to make a business decision.

“Broadmeadows closed because there was a short-term lease and retail was not what we were told it was going to be by the leasing people,” Mr Ristevski said.
“They gave us figures, we went on those figures, and we had to make a business decision whether to continue running it or come to an agreement with the centre and pay out the rent.”

So the business decision was to close down Broadmeadows and change directors.

Was that rent actually paid out? Or is it still a Warrant Brands unpaid debt with an agreement for payment?

Wonder if Uber driving was used as a cover for gambling, seems convenient to say im going to drive Uber then end up in Casino or pokies.
I sense financial issues lead to lot of friction and arguing which ended up with KR death

It seems that way Didi.
Financial issues seems to have been a large part of the R's life and for a very long time. The family home seems to have been the one thing that they were able to hold onto through all the tough times.
No matter what was contributing to them.
The vague suggestion that they were at risk of losing the family home really seemed to bother BR. It actually seemed to bother so much that he made contact with the media. Yet he did not appeal for his wife, the mother of his only daughter.

Yes, they could have cooked up the 'red herring' about the inappropriate relationship, why, to get SR on side, to muddy up her perception of her mother and paint her in a bad light so she would side with her father, maybe .... I can't figure out why they're all still living under the one roof ....... must be a reason🤔

There is so much we don't know. We don't know where Borce and Karen were meant to be that day at 10am, or if home was where they were expected, where Sarah was, and what went on the night before. Was the family's digital footprint the night before consistent with their usual pattern, and with what they said they were doing? Who was the last person to see Karen aside from Borce and who last spoke to her on the phone? The police have been very quiet on the timeline, unlike in Allison Bade Clay's where we knew all about the hairdresser and so on. They'd have so much of a better idea of what went down.

I think this case will crack when Sarah does. If she does. I think they are all well versed in pretending things are different to what they really are, so she may not.

There is so much we don't know, for eg: did the police or a family member pick up a strong smell of bleach in the house or garage ( hydrogen peroxide removes blood) ?

Are there items missing like, pillowcase/pillow/doona or doona-cover....or household item like a heavy ornament etc.
How active BR and Karen were on their phones that night and morning? ( this info the police would have hopefully from only phone records, Karen's phone could reveal the actual txts)

Borce and SR have to cooperate fully for the police to know if anything is amiss. Allison's mother noticed the strong odour of bleach in the kitchen area, would SR admit the same if it were true?
BR wants to lead the police away from the home which means that's where Karen died. JMO

Seriously tho, I'm praying Karen's death doesn't go cold and unnoticed.
She appears to be an everyday person struggling to keep food on the table and pay the bills just like anyone of us and it could've been anyone of us....that's why I get a bit toey.

The poor woman was dumped and lay in the weather in the bush for so many months. Karen deserves justice now.
