I believe Sarah spoke to 3AW before the press conference outside Avondale Heights, but this is from memory.

I think if someone was dedicated enough they could find Sarah's spot on 3AW in their podcast archives. I gave it a half hearted attempt. I don't know how long they archive them for though.

I agree that something changed for Sarah. She was being proactive and then the fight went out of her. My long time belief that Karen had left of her own will was based on Sarah's initial demeanour, I think she genuinely believed Mum could have stormed off but was rightly still concerned for her. Looking back now I see she was quickly deflated from that initial push to find Karen and had likely lost hope early on. Could well be wrong, I misread Borce as angered at being put in the position to have such allegations put on him - like you would be if you genuinely had a fight and your partner left of their own volition and you start getting framed for it.

Wow , bella Bleu FB first post since Dec,
"Final days everything must go 50% off storewide"
So does this mean shop is closing down? Anyone been and seen if shop up for lease?

OOOH !

I still am amazed that it has stayed open for the length of time it did - I am certain that the business was in big trouble and was a big contributor to the financial woes. (along with everything else)
I still think this was all over money and not love triangles etc.

Such a shame. Would have been better to just close up and move on to a revised life style... but it didn't and the end result is just a disaster.

Tick tick tick.....

It'll be interesting if the house will be sold to pay for that gold plated lawyer.
Sorry SR, there goes your inheritance.

I honestly feel there is no inheritance left... between whispers of gambling, business debts, gold plated lawyers... of and that guilty cloud that just won't blow away....
SR will be left with nothing - and no mother. Sad sad sad situation.
It just didn't have to be like this.

I don't know how much mr Stary law firm charges per hour but im guessing br didn't spent too much so far, a few consultations here and there, not more than 10k-20k?

If it goes on trial it would be different story

I agree; I think the big expense will be the barrister.

Correct. This Herald sun article confirms the same

So we know we haven't been told whether SR was there that morning or not, nor have we been told when she last saw her mother. WHY?
Can this ommission help build a case for Borce. Accidently killed his wife to protect his daughter from being hurt , which leads to a manslaughter charge .
I'm not familiar with how this all works but reading an extract from an Australian law firms website was interesting. Certainly explains why no arrest has been yet.
The info set out under manslaughter-pleading "not guilty" sounds just like what BR and Stary are heading for .

The police must surely have asked Sarah very early on when she last saw her mother. It's unlikely that they don't know. I imagine BR's lawyers wouldn't want to release that sort of information, because it would be conceding that there was some doubt about BR's story of how Karen left the house.

I was also thinking that SR has been protecting her father from the very beginning. 29 June is when BR has said he last saw her, family made a plea on 2 July, not sure what day they reported her missing? So could she be lying to police about when she "really last saw her mum". Say she has told police that she saw her mum on the morning of wed 29 June as well. Could the police not be wanting to release this because they don't believe her. If police tell us that she was there that morning too, then that would take too much pressure off BR as possible suspect from the publics perspective.

If SR maintains that she saw her mum on wed 29 jun in morning , then when she has the courage to speak up, maybe this will be where the lawyer can use that BR killed his wife "accidentally" to protect his daughter from being hurt from his wife who went "ballistic" (not saying that KR tried to hurt her daughter, but for BR's sake, this story could work nicely for him and he could get the lesser degree of manslaughter charge this way ). Which means SRs daddy will only be locked up for a few years.
Hope what I'm trying to say makes sense.

Oops public plea was 4 July not 2 July.

I'm very surprised that the shop has remained open as long as it has...perhaps the shop IS closing down AND they are not renewing the lease...
I wonder if there's much stock left?

Getting their business issues sorted...and it's time for some ARRESTS? :please:.....Get ready TGY !!!

How long has that sale been going now?
Is the store still opened?

Karen isn't around to object to any sales. That's what he wanted, that's what the fight was about allegedly.

Its website says it's opened 6 days a week but if I go to the website this shows.

Hi Emirates...:seeya:

In your travels, have you noticed if the store is still open?

From memory, the sale has been going since Karen went missing...I feel that this may have started the argument that led to her death....MOO IMO

Some stores have sale, clearance or closing down signs permanently displayed to appear like they are selling stuff cheap and trick customers in, maybe BR came up with the idea

As a happy Mother's Day gift to Karen please let there be an arrest this week.
Justice for Karen is due and payable, not refundable.
Please let this happen.

In June, it promoted a 50 per cent off clearance sale for selected items.

Why would a sibling would know this 'for certain'?
Either Karen was in a dangerous relationship or she was hanging out with seedy characters. Somehow I doubt the latter.
Whats stopping an arrest then?

Steve Williams knew for months that his sister Karen Ristevski wasn't coming home.

Speaking a day after confirmation that Ms Ristevski's body had been found at Mount Macedon, Mr Williams said the period since she disappeared had been "totally horrific".
"Knew Karen wasn't coming home. Knew that from a very early stage. Yesterday just confirms what we pretty much thought and knew all along," he said.

Most brothers don't really know if their sister is having an affair and MIGHT take off with a lover. Steve knew from 'a very early stage' Karen wasn't coming home. Karen's family obviously know something, but unfortunately not enough to pin BR.
All fingers again point to the person who last saw Karen. Guess who that is.

Yes Stephen said that Karen looked out for her parents while they were alive.

It does seem as though Karen's birth family did want to see her final resting place to be with her parents.
2:18 Video
Karen's family are now planning to give her the burial she deserves. Her Aunt Patrice says they plan to lay the 47 year old along side her parents in Bacchus Marsh.
It is a small consolation for a family that has endured so much.

Obviously not all of the family agreed with that.
No funeral notice and wasn't it intended to be a private funeral?
