The thing is, Silly Borce has locked himself in as being the driver of Karen's Merc that morning, ( day ), between some very precise time slots, and even sillier, he has locked himself into being on the same route as Karen's killer would have taken to remove her body from Avondale to Macedon. And during the same hours, like.. here we have Borce , trying to fix the fuel gauge, and the killer trying to get up to Macedon to bury Karen after murdering her, and both take the same direction and travel mode, and time and freeway!!..

its almost uncanny!..

but Borce came up with that yarn and he 's stuck with it, no point trying to claim some bushy haired stranger stole the car after shoving Karen's dead body in the tiny boot and driving off in to the unknown........... too late for that one, Borce!!

aha!!..... yes , .. I recall that now, and wasn't it Gerard who actually made the call, and wasn't it about upping the amount of payout , and didn't the insurer send him off with a flea in his ear to get the insured person to speak to the matter>?..... and wasn't Allison ringing to try and consolidate the payments of various policies to something more manageable due to Gerard's ridiculous financial nincompoopery?.....

Hey Troops remember how vicious Olivia was towards Allison? Well I think Vasko will be vicious on steroids because he's started already with his filthy insinuations. Lying through his teeth and smooth doing it.

It will be interesting to know if Karen's blood was found because that was one pivotal point with Allison.

One little difference is that Allison was found walking distance from her home, depressed she could have walked and did that swan dive to her death. The car was returned home. (But her blood was found in it).

With thy greedy Borce he returned in the precious car, too lazy to find another means of transport back and it was not walking distance. DOH!

Allisons death could easily have been suicide but not Karen, no way did she cover herself with logs and lay there to die. 100% murdered!

Prosecution has to piece it together and prove it.....beyond all reasonable doubt.

Sorry for long rant.

10:56 - snap conference....such a precise time.
11:12 - diggers cctv
12:50 - neighbours car entering the street
1:20 - witness see car being loaded onto tow truck
11:12 at Diggers Rest puzzles me. If that's BR and he left at 10:30, it's taken him 20 minutes longer than it should have. Would traffic account for that? The earthmover?

see,.... we know that the killer left from the Avondale area. Because Borce has told us that was where Karen was last seen. Exiting thru the garage door, in Avondale. And we know that her body was found in the Macedon area, so logic compels us to agree that Karen, ( dead ) and her killer left from Avondale together, arrived at Macedon together, and the killer left Macedon alone because Karen's body was offloaded there.

So... logistics.. one live driver from Avondale to Macedon and one dead body. Return from Macedon ( to where?. where did the killer return to? what mode of transport did he/she use? ) one live driver and no dead body, the dead body having been pushed under fallen logs.

At the same time, from the same address in Avondale, Borce sets off on a mission to regulate the fuel gauge in Karen's car. He takes a parallel route as the killer and burier of Karen must have taken, his phone is missing 100 minutes, which hasn't happened before on his phone, apparently, and he arrives back at Avondale, in Karen's car, fuel gauge magically repaired , and .. what? . does a bit of housework, vacuums, the dishes, makes the beds, does a bit of ironing, waits, opens the mail, rings a few mates, starts preparing dinner, sure, all this stuff. ,.... just waiting for Karen to come 'back from her walk';....

I would love to have followed BR's car this morning.

Where do you think he goes?

To mum's or Vasko's for breakfast. To escape the morning media's sunny 'Good Morning, Borce'.

We never did hear about the outcome of the roundabout ...did we?
But it did prompt GBC to phone fleggy and ask were the cameras working.

Just as Borce has asked the neighbours.
Imagine watching those shots of the merc, 4WD and tow truck entering and leaving Oakley Drive .............:notgood: :gasp:

oh, Vlasko is Olivia with a beard... a nasty piece of work, and also , Vlasko has the air , to me, of a man who had been firmly rejected by Karen , in no uncertain terms, and Karen had probably had to do that quite a few times over the years, Vlasko being a persistant sort, in my judgement.

In my estimation, Vlasko is going to trip Borce up, just out of sheer idiocy.... Vlasko knows what's what, and he will know when to hold his cards and when to fold 'em, and be damned to who is in the fallout. Nothing is going to stick to Vlasko. The money will tie B and V together so tightly that neither will be able to untangle themselves one from the other.

Maybe he didn't leave at 10:30. Maybe that is just the time he has given to the police.
Maybe he didn't leave until closer to 10:56

Spontaneous thought ..... now that they pretty much know route taken due to new Childers Rd evidence, re-enactment with camera atop car could be to pick up vision of any cctv cameras they may have missed or would like to investigate, um, along with all the other stuff ..... must catch up on posts now, [emoji4]

I can't imagine that he had his eyes on the clock. He would have been acting under massive amounts of adrenalin and nerves. His given times are likely his best estimates, or intentional deceptions for whatever reason.

The one thing I would love to find out is the timing of the phone pings and the time in which the phone was switched off. I know a few people have posted that here already.
If those times match up I have to say that would be pretty damning. IMO.

After rereading the investigation into the Meagher case, the CCTV and the phone pings is what lead into such a quick arrest. It makes you wonder what they currently have...

I am sure Borce did some cleaning that day.

all killers have to start out from somewhere, and return to somewhere.. only the rare ones found standing right next to their dead victim have failed to return home. ..

Even killers are subject to the passage of the earth and the sun and all that stuff, time plods on at it's inexorable pace for them , like it does for anyone else , anything else on this planet.. .The sun doesn't stop in the sky for them.

It's reasonable to assume that the killer was under a time constraint.. the burial site was in close , very close proximity to Karen's place of death, her home, ( it isn't reasonable to believe that Karen left that home alive that day ) .. if you consider the size of Australia , the killer could have motored on to Ceduna or Kalgoorlie, and buried her in the desert way off the beaten track, never to be found.

But time is a harsh master, and this killer was running out of it by the time he/she pulled off into Macedon. Maybe that wasn't the first choice of location. .. but by the time this was decided, time was an issue, I claim this because the burial was so obviously rushed, and done in a manner that guaranteed discovery, really, the location ( behind houses !! in Macedon !!) .. buried under logs!.. did he /she forget to take a shovel? . hand scrabbling a tunnel in the earth, a hard time consuming job, and then the drive back..

Back to where? . if not Avondale, if not Borce, then who? and where , and in what, and why? .. logic points to Borce inexorably, .Borce alone?.. maybe , maybe not. .

Was anything more ever said about those iPad searches they found and the shovel that they were testing the soil of?

  • #755
Just out of interest does anyone recall the time that an Ant checked in at Bunnings on the day Karen went missing ?

I'm not sure if that previous post was a dig at me.
Sorry guys. I won't post anymore.

Yes, I'd like to know if they were dated before or after the disappearance

He initially told police he didn’t leave the family home on the morning she disappeared. But in a second statement, he said he had forgotten that he drove Karen Ristevski’s car at 10.30am, about a half-hour after he says she left home.

http://www.theaustralian.com.au/new...t/news-story/65baeaefafdf08d7725f924ff14c18cd

Intentional deception for whatever reason....yeah!
He was home all day and bingo when he did finally remember (with some prompting) that he had taken a run in the Merc, he was able to remember the time he did ........... amazing.
He was then able to remember that he *forgot* to turn into the service station and to exit to the family store.
He also remembered he was home by 12.....Just wow for someone so forgetful.

imo
