Can anyone remember how long it took for the public to know about Allisons blood in the boot? Was it not until the hearing?

Mistress claim in Brisbane killing

Explosive new details of the police case emerged during Mr Baden-Clay's unsuccessful bid for bail in the Supreme Court in Brisbane yesterday.

Crown prosecutor Danny Boyle said while the evidence against Mr Baden-Clay was largely circumstantial, the combination of circumstances surrounding the case was compelling.

Mr Baden-Clay's marriage was in trouble and he had signalled his intention to leave his wife for his mistress, and even set a July 1 deadline, Mr Boyle said.

The real estate agent was in dire financial circumstances and stood to benefit greatly from an insurance payout if his wife died.

Mr Boyle said Mrs Baden-Clay's blood was found in Mr Baden-Clay's car, and ''the quantity and position of the blood'' suggested the seat had been ''laid flat to make it a boot''.

Huge thanks to Puggles for today. :loveyou:

On the 'dead weight' issue. Nothing scientific to back this, just personal experience.

Many years ago my ex OH had a seizure and collapsed unconscious onto the floor, landing with his head propped on the bedside table. As I tried to roll him over, he fell on top of me. There was no way I could move him or crawl out from underneath. I was pinned. He was literally a 'dead weight'. Took me ages to finally manoeuvre my way out and get help.
He was not a big man.

This is where a suitcase would come in handy IMO. But then, why take her out of the suitcase to put her between the logs.

I can think of only one reason, the suitcase could be traced back to Borce or Karen or Sarah.

We are all assuming that Borce acted alone in the disposal of her body. I feel that perhaps he had help, in which case a 60kg petite woman would be easy enough to lift and move.

Thanks Soso. That was only 10 days after GBC's arrest on 13 June 2012. I'm not as confused as I thought I was. :floorlaugh:

Ability to easily move Karen would also depend on the timeframe and what was happening with her body. :sigh: Sorry.

I'm opting for Borce doing it alone, the murder and the disposal of the body. He panicked and needed to discard the body in a hurry and chose a place he knew well enough. He probably knows a little about forensics imo, that a deceased person leaves a trace, an odour in a short amount of time.
I'm not of the opinion Vasko can be associated with the site the body was found. He's not a clever man by any means but he'd be exceptionally stupid to return to the disposal site in full public view, he could be recognized.
I'd bet money on Vasko disposing of handbag, phone, (suitcase, doona, plastic sheeting, garbage bags etc....?) and providing stories to account for Karen's disappearance.
What would tie Vasko in are phone convos/texts after 9.00am on 29 June.

This is just a theory, I keep changing my mind but always return to this one.

I agree. It appears the brothers are close and its a definite BR told VR. It could be the only person he told but loose lips sink ships.

I was at my daughters salon today. The owner of the salon said that one of her clients had seen Karen on the morning walking.....apparently this was passed onto LE. I have asked my daughters boss to pass my mobile onto the said client and asked if she would contact me.

What the ?! This is big news em! That really throws a spanner in the works! Did BR pick Karen up along the way? She sounds pretty sure it was Karen.

I'm right there with you on that one tgy. It seems though that the police are playing their cards very close to their chest, and only releasing what they want the murderer/s to know, which makes me think there is more than one suspect in this case.

It certainly has! So did Karen go for the said walk as mentioned by Boris, he went looking for her in her car, found her and things turned to crap from there? Hitting that 'bump' in the road to fix the speedo and stuff like that!

Starting to look that way, hence the drive to Watergardens by the Merc.

Hehehe the only stuff they are releasing certainly has ruffled BR"s feathers. Good tactics by our wonder boyz.

Maybe that is what the reporter is stumbling over at the end of the video.
On the last day.. on the day.. the day....lol

The 300 meters test start ..... where is .... says the police station is more than 1.5 km km from Oakley regardless of route taken.
So they must have started that trip check closer to Oakley Drive, where I wonder.

Are you thinking he ran her over & then was bundled in the car?

  • #1,260
I think if he ran her over in Avondale, there would have been witnesses
