But according to the Seven News video, the car was driven in and then fifteen minutes later, towed out.

Edit: "towed" as in loaded onto a truck, not literally dragged behind.

Edit again: there are shots of the car on the truck, but I don't see the yellow straps. There must be something tying it down though you would think.

Maybe that car was driven from Mt Masedon and ended the trip at Avondale Heights for testing.

IMO that car has been on some dirt roads.

What we DO know from this exercise today is that there is a LOT of very good CCTV from the houses along the street.

And Borce is seeing them.

Though I don't see yellow tape.

Here's the yellow tape.

That's what I'm thinking TGY. If so that would make the time he got home around 1:20pm. Something we haven't known before.

Ok finally understanding it was driven in and towed out..

why wouldnt they just use literally an identical car to test milage or timing etc... maybe they wanted her actual car for an reenactment to make it more convincing?

Someone took a picture and also rang 3AW .....

then later in the afternoon channel seven said they got the "exclusive video" Im thinking they may have asked homeowners for the footage.

IMO that's very clear footage if that's from a homeowner.
I hope the cops weren't wanting it.

Checking if a fault occurred with that pesky fuel gauge while at it.

Looks like I'll have to be limbering up for this cold nudie run.
Hubby will call for the straight jacket mob. :giggle:

And we know that his phone was switched off for about 2 hours between 10:30am and 2pm ... so presumably 2pm was the next time of phone activity, following the down time of about 2 hours (whether that was continuous downtime or not). And that fits in this new timeline, too.

Critically Mr Ristevski’s phone was switched off for two hours between 10.30am and 2pm.

I don't think the police will need it. They will already know what they were doing. Will have it fully documented and approved.

Plus they will know all the CCTV spots on that street and what they can record of activities around Borce's house, and probably are quite happy that Borce now knows about them all too.

Yes if it was an exercise that had anything to do with cctv. You would have thought the police would have been on to that where the neighbours are concerned.
Don't give any of this to the media.

Maybe it will make more solid court evidence, in case there is a slight variation in the performance of another similar car.

Yes SA! They've timed the run! Also it could be like Baden-Clay with what time was his phone on/off charge. All tiny little tid-bits all add up! Every tiny bit.

Wouldnt they want to compare footage from the original day. I think that's crucial information.

1:20pm-ish till 2pm-ish. Gives him enough time to quickly hose off the car, get out of his muddy boots, and chuck the shovel back in the garage ... before switching his phone back on and acting like he was home all day.

Perhaps what we have seen is just a copy ... one that police were happy to have the public (Borce/Sarah/Vasko) see? Perhaps police have a copy, too. A copy for you and you and you .. a copy for everybody!

I can't imagine the homeowners just giving away copies to the media, without the nod from the police. The neigbours have been so very good about not releasing anything to the media previously.

Seems to have taken about 3 hours for the CCTV to be shown, from what I can judge in the articles. The initial pic was a still shot, presumably taken by that 3AW caller.
