Maybe when FromGermany comes on ..... He/she might be able to help.

A case in Indiana had a poster on the thread who was a digital specialist of some sorts ... maybe FromGermany knows who that was and we could get in touch with that person.

Was it perhaps Nin - No it's not??? :dunno:
Haven't enough time for searching because ... you know, my laptop ....

From what I can tell, if I'm looking up the correct car, Karen's car is approved for P drivers.

Not sure if the link will work

Thanks sleep. This is the search I did earlier. Just realised it is for NSW.

I don't know at this time, sorry. Maybe, you will find the poster on the IMAGE Thread in case Abby/Libby? In addition to not knowing I have no time for thinking because my laptop wants to die the next second (overheating).

From Germany. Don't play with PC, go to local library.
When I started I requested Websleuths send me an avatar of a 'jack russell' !!

Malwarebytes introduced loads problems - removing programs, blocking so cannot reinstall - even probs with internet crashing, and emails were a nightmare, as 'conking out' mid sentence.
My weekly visits to Library, over 2 months, successful.
By yesterday my Pc Is like new. Better leave library alone.

Come here to Melb. and meet my library guy. I'll even take you by the hand so you don't get lost.
Aren't you from Germany, from germany?- however I do recall you stating Canada

FG .....

Please dont risk blowing up your lappy....

Get it fixed..... you are a much needed member here....

FG.....

for those that don't know posted thoughts that a famous cold case "Belanglo Angel" 2010 could be connected to another case

That of a small childs remains found in a suitcase along a hwy in Wynarka South Australia 2015 could be connected....

As it turned out FG was right ...... well before a family member connected any dots and the connection was made by Police....

I am bowing in awe......

Now get that lappy fixed FG...

Puggle 🤬🤬🤬

Puggle. Great write up about From Germany. We need this type of info, acknowledging skills.

We really have some stars here.
From this thread, with your photos you also are in the same category as FG. Let's see where your photos lead us, in this case

I now must introduce FG to this library guy, to keep her/him helping with these superb skills so laptop doesn't blow up.
Now I'll investigate your info Puggle, and 'find another track' to search. Thanks.

Yep, it was in one of his posts from early last year on or about the date of KRs disappearance stating he had just finished with his P plates and there was speculation as to whether he'd lost his licence at some point or had just got his licence

Sent from my SM-T550 using Tapatalk

It was actually Learners are off, on the day Karen disappeared.

Back on Thread 2... On Pages 21 & 22...starting from Post # 313, 318, 319...there's a lot of discussion about the P-Plates...too many posts to bring over to here.

There may well have been discussion of "P" plates (I'm not going back to look) I have a copy of what was said on the day Karen disappeared, which is what I was stating.

IMO he wasn't talking about driving. [emoji848]

For general info, I'm IN Germany (only first interested in Canadian cases like Dellen M. and Audrey G. etc.) and I'm a "she". :D
Thanks for advice!

Puggle's skills are always very helpful and I'm much interested in her posts! Please, don't compare me with Puggle and you other ones on here who have a lot of knowledge and talents. :blushing:
I'm not more than an elderly pensioner who is interested in some cases (mostly the cases which remain unsolved, so it seems) and I love to read the posts of everyone and like to learn something every single day. My children don't like my "hobby" and the one with the computer skills in the family is the one, who from the beginning claimed WS maybe responsible for my PC problems. It shows: he may be right ..... :o :tears:

Lol your funny FG .... don't be bashful. ... and don't ever say " not more than..."

I think alot of our families/other halfs ..... don't like our "hobby" ...
as it takes attention away from them .... everything in moderation .... or just sneak on when their not looking...

Depending on the age of your lappy .... it could just be an internal fan is broken. That usually makes them overheat and make that horrid noise .... and shut itself off.

Its ok FG .... I'll go look or ask Danse Macabre .... pretty sure they did the video of the Bridge...

All good.

Just my thoughts on the p plate
image.jpegimage.jpegPlease correct if anything not accurate.

Types if "P" plates available in Victoria . Assuming the 2nd yr P plate which is a green background with white "P" lettering

1. Static vision -used mainly for Windows
2. Magnetic- adheres to most smooth surfaces
3. Double sided plastic with suction cups -Windows

Attachments used to hold number plates in some cases : black framed covers (P Plate gets inserted into this) which screw onto the side of the number plate

KRs Merc has slim line number plates , just thinking if it were to be number plates;

1. It would be rather hard to stick the p plate behind the number plate.
2. These days no. Plates are magnetic, I would have thought having it on the bonnet would be simpler on this type of car
3. The space between the number plate and the Mercedes badge looks slim and
4. If it's SRs p plate that would be green with white p, would cctv pick it up with such brightness?
4. KRs headlights are on, could this be reflective light. We're street lights on around this time in diggers rest at that spot.
5. If a younger person was driving it with a body , would you display a p plate. I would think a black Merc with p plate could possibly attract the attention of police for a random check. You would try and be less conspicuous
6. Would you be thinking straight and remember to switch or place p plates on this car if you are on a purposeful trip like this .

This is an interesting article about the role of mobile phone pings in high profile murder cases such as this one, Stephanie Scott, Jill Meagher and Karlie and Khandalyce.

http://www.news.com.au/national/cri...e/news-story/6191c8f68f4440c2be1886ac71222705

Thanks for that Oona ......

This part was interesting. ..... Sure Borce would be interested.

Article says: Unbeknown to many, however, is that even if a phone is turned off, it runs a hidden operating system that is always turned on.

The system constantly sends pings to phone towers and is always searching for the closest or strongest signal. The tower keeps a log of those pings.

No wonder he went running to a lawyer as quick as he did ....

I really hope police got it locked in from him that he only went as far as the Calder thunderdome ..... I mean... thats pretty specific.

It would be a big stretch to come back later on when presented with phone data ..... to say .... ohhh that's right I did travel another 30 minutes and go for a stroll...stretch my legs at Macedon Regional Park....

I bet Borce is hoping Mr Stary earns his big bucks ...... or is it pro bono free advertising???

ETA: Did not like seeing that Baileys face on that article ..... want to smash the screen... what a vile peice of excrement it is...

BBM Yes Puggle, if it is true that phones are still pinging when switched off, BR's location during that 100 minutes that he cannot account for might be revealed by his phone data.

And sorry to remind you of that monster Bailey's awful face.... I feel the same when I see Daniel Holdom's picture

Mmmm 4 and 4 ... Not sure if the green could be picked up...but the white part ... yep sure IMO.. ...........

wouldn't think street lights on at 11am and even if they were the brighntness would be cancelled out by the sunlight.

5.... Really don't know what one would do in a panic....maybe not think straight... like...forgetting to remove a p plate... could happen.

If we are all correct in our assumptions ..... alot of mistakes were made....ill thought out....like taking a phone, getting captured on cctv.....telling lies lol....

Yes, it appears to me as BR in the passenger seat. Height and head shape does it for me. Is he directing the driver? Just that my son sits practically on the dash with the seat fwd when directing me or his wife.

IMO if the Mercedes captured on CCTV had P Plates, the police would have definitely mentioned it. The police and MSM have not said a word about the Mercedes having P Plates.

Was anyone in the Ristevski family on P Plates before, during or after Karen's disappearance? I've not seen any evidence of Borce, SR etc. driving with P Plates.

Not sure when it was taken but the google street view of the Rosamond Rd house that one of the businesses is registered to shows SR standing out front with her car, which has green Ps.

my thoughts on this are that my partner and I frequently leave our sons L plates on the car even when we are driving simply out of laziness/can't be bothered taking down and putting back up!
