Found Deceased Australia - Karen Ristevski, 47, Melbourne, Vic, 29 June 2016 - #14

Excuse my ignorance (or bad memory) but has Karen's handbag, phone, etc been recovered? Also was the site where the house was being built close to the Ristevski's residence anywhere near Peerless?

The bag has not been found to date. The house next door to Oakley is just about finished. I went down to Peerless the other day. Peerless court looks more like a cluster of hotels. Enormous over the top homes .....there is also a track that leads down to the river.

I see there is an empty block at #26 Peerless Court. Google Earth says this most recent satellite image available is from November 2015 (see imagery date at the bottom of this picture - USA date format). Before Karen went missing.

Is there a house there now? I wonder if any construction was happening around the time Karen went missing? Thinking of the phone/bag/wallet, etc. Perhaps any potential weapon.

Trying to think why police would be spending a fair bit of time in Peerless Court.

The first time walked around Peerless was probably 6 months ago. Right at the very end of the street there is a HUGE house that looked that doesn't look quite finished. Certainly lock up due to the mere size I would be surprised if residual work was being done. Will do another drive by.

I'm looking at that laneway beside Karen's house and the trees on the fenceline at the front of the garage. Could Karen have come out of the garage and cut behind the trees to the lane and so not have been picked up by any street CCTV? Depending on the bushyness, it might be a natural short cut. Does anyone know if there's an actual fence that would prevent this? I can't see one on Google street view.

No fence JLZ there is also a lane way directly next to Oakley that could be utilised.

Whatever that building is, it's freaking YUGE! Doesn't seem like it's the kind of street where a woman would go walking alone at any time of the day.

Your right it's bloody enormous. In actual fact Bo I would feel quite safe walking around Peerless.

Your exactly right. As you approach the court it is quite narrow. IMO it would be the last place to have an altercation. One scream would alert neighbours immediately.

I think it is likely that Karen was murdered over money.

Possibilities:
She wanted to walk away from the endless business failures (was there a new potential failure in the works?)
She had more tangible assets than Borce
She wouldn't give Borce money to fritter away (gambling, another brilliant business scheme?)
She was tired of working and sharing with him, to the family's detriment
Other money reasons.

Money is the only thing that seems to get a rise out of Borce.

I just zipped down to Peerless. To give you an idea of how busy it can be there were 21 cars parked in the court area alone which consists of about 10 houses. The approach into Peerless was also quite busy several neighbours taking to each other. 30-32 Peerless appears to be fully built except for the front door which consists of a large timber board (not door) with a bolt on it.

I suppose because Peerless is a cul-de-sac perhaps it's more conducive to friendly neighbourhood relations, especially if they have children.
