I watched a doco this morning on a guy called Sef Gonzales who murdered his Mother, Father and sister. .

It seemed a complete no brainer from the start... but it took soooo long before police charged him....

I tbink this case will be the same

So maybe next year we will get an an arrest....lol...deff...not 3 weeks...

Nothing about Sarah ...... the 3AW thing went poof. ....

And something else...to do with her...can't recall atm..

She has been luckily sheilded from the media ... or...

Lol...sorry to quote myself....

Ahhh yes.... the 3AW interview went bye bye....and for some reason the full interview and appeal clip of Sarah and Borce outside the Avondale Police Station on the 2nd of July went bye bye too...

Wonder why .

Mr Stary???

The time came from Steve Richardson, one of Karen's birth relatives who was posting here for a while. It is in one of his posts somewhere back in the threads. We discussed it again maybe one or two threads ago, so you may find it there.

It is not clear where or who he heard that time from. Perhaps via the birth family from Borce or Sarah? He did not say. Which is why we haven't been sure of the accuracy of it.

.

Thanks SA x

I remember that. Not far from where I lived at the time. Shocking crime and SG's twists and turns trying to avoid responsibility for his crimes had to be seen to be believed. He really genuinely thought he could outwit everyone and get away with the murders of his family.

(Now bed, Puggs, for both of us!)

Thread 6 #316

Arrived home at 7PM

Sarah said she first heard about Karen missing when she got home at about 7pm that day yet supposeably they spoke many times per day (Karen's cousin said
“Sarah and her mum are extremely close, they spoke many times per day. They are best friends.”).
Sarah knew her mother was in a bad mood the night before with both her and BR due to discussion over the store. She must have attempted to phone her mum the
next day either to apologise to get some peace back or just to talk (as she did always many times per day).
If something happened to Karen the night prior to her missing eg KR went ballistic and BR lost the plot she obviously knows something we don't.
The police will no doubt have tracked all phone records and an easy pattern to give some belief to the above is:
1. Did Sarah phone her mother at any stage on June 29th which she always did many times per day. If she didn't she knew there was no point.
2. How many times did she phone BR on the 29th and was the call or number of calls made consistent with previous times. If something happened the night prior
she would be ringing often checking up on the situation.
3. Sarah said the first time she knew her mother was missing was 7:00pm when she arrived home so that says to me she he didn't speak to BR
at any time prior to getting home as if she did why would he not say prior to that time I haven't seen your mum since this morning. If Sarh
and BR communicated any time after noon she is lying saying 7:00pm was the first time she knew Karen was missing.
4. One person phones their mother many times during the day and doesn't make contact as phone is off or they didn't indeed phone. One person doesn't
phone the daughter to say that their mother and wife is missing yet he can walk the neighbourhood asking for any CCTV coverage of her. No time
in the media was it mentioned they made contact with each other prior to 7:00pm.
5. Did BR keep ringing the store to see if Karen had turned up or ask the store to phone him if she did. Why have your phone off in case she rings
when you are trolling the neighbourhood looking for CCTV or taking the car for a scenic drive (if that was the time phone off).
6. If Sarah couldn't get hold of her mum on the phone why didn't she ring the store to see if she was there.
7. The first thing Sarah should have said when she walked in the door "I haven't heard from mum all day".

Ah, that's right! Thank you, soso. No mention of the morning, just that Sarah got home later that evening.

I knew that we didn't have anything concrete about the morning, as we have discussed it so many times. Was she home the night before, was she at her boyfriend's place, somewhere else? Did the alleged argument about sales happen the prior evening (some links said so)? Did she actually see her mother in the morning, or left so early (if Sarah was home) that she assumed her mother was still sleeping?

Sarah was old enough at the time to have not spent every night at home.

I am sure Sarah will have been caught leaving and arriving Oakley on cctv ... whatever time it was.

 Pretty sure it was mentioned in a recent news article that Sarah was home the morning of Karen's disappearance. I remember many of us were thrilled to learn that specific detail as we'd all been wanting to know since the start of the investigation if Sarah was present that morning. Will go search for the article.

Re: the nest. As others have mentioned, just a photo of the city albeit not a very clear one. Whoever took the photo was in a high-rise apartment or building that had a balcony and I'll add, they had the shakes! Dunno, maybe scared of heights or hanging out for their next fix..take your pick. Two links were also posted, one to a news article re book and another to that ridiculous interview with KH:  ALL MOO

Why is it taking so long?
Borce version of events is that he was the last to see Karen when she walked from the house at 10:00am on the 29th.
Do the police have cctv evidence of any other person entering the street, the house on the 28th or 29th but no evidence of them leaving?
Who do the police say is responsible for the murder, if one, two, even three people have been captured entering the street and home but not snapped leaving?
Difficult to join the dots behind those closed doors - when lips are zipped.
imo

Police were told initially told that Borce was home all day.

Sarah, now 22, was present at the family home earlier in the morning before leaving, police have been told.

During an interview last July, Mr Ristevski told police his wife walked out of their Avondale Heights home on June 29 after an argument. Sarah, their only child, was the last person to see Mrs Ristevski before that row.

Probably neither here nor there, but yes there are many law firms up that end of town, one Greek general lawyer (with a bit of a dodgy history) almost next door. Unless Ant is staying there because a mate already had a hotel room, it does seem a strange choice of location. The hotel is nowhere near the nightlife, clubs or Crown. No trams to get there, either.

Yes UT - Police were also told initially that Borce was home all day. Until he remembered with a bit of prompting that he had forgotten that he took the merc for a spin up the Calder that morning.

We can also reveal that the couple’s daughter, Sarah, was spoken to by missing persons squad detectives around the same time as her father........................

Sarah was spoken to..... does that mean she had/has not been officially interviewed?

The Herald Sun understands police believe they were close to making a key breakthrough in the case during the interview with Mr Ristevski..................

Borce Ristevski can’t explain movements for almost 100 minutes on day Karen vanished
