Avondale Heights Senior Constable Ahmet Cagrier also gave evidence on Tuesday.

He was questioned about information in his statement from August, 2016, two months after he interviewed the accused.

Const Cagrier was asked whether it was possible he remembered incorrectly details of a conversation he had with Mr Ristevski the day after his wife went missing.

Mr Ristevski’s lawyer David Hallowes SC asked if the officer could be 100 per cent certain his client told him he and his wife argued in an upstairs bedroom before she left via the front door.

“In your statement, you indicate Mr Ristevski told you it happened upstairs? It is possible he mentioned it happened downstairs or that she’d gone upstairs after?” Mr Hallowes asked.

“You made your statement two months later. Is it possible Mr Ristevski didn’t say to you that the discussion took place upstairs? A couple of months later you’re doing your best to recall and you think ‘oh the argument took place upstairs’?”

“Quite possible,” the officer replied. “I didn’t write it down at the time.”

He said it was also possible that Mr Ristevski did not tell him his wife left by the front door and instead may have told him she “went out the front”.

“Yeah, that’s possible,” he said.

Optus technician Oleg Prypoten gave evidence on Monday and Tuesday about mobile phone towers along the Calder Freeway detecting “pings” from the phones of Mr Ristevski and his wife in the hours after she went missing.

my version of bumping up the 3AW screen grabs sleepinoz kindly found March 2017

soso raised the very question i've been thinking - apart from SR and BR who really did see or speak to Karen last (including cctv...) and when was that?

Back to basics. Karen did not kill herself. Karen did not drive herself to fall asleep in between the logs. We know who she was last with on the morning she disappeared, we know who was driving Karen's car, we know who has been acting very suspiciously all along and we know who killed Karen. Slam dunk guilty beyond reasonable doubt. Will there be a trial? Of course!!

Difference between "front door" and "out the front". Although I would think: without door, going out the front seems impossible? ;)
Maybe, he wanted to differentiate between main entrance door and garage door? Why would it be important, I wonder.

R family are really bad actors, no desire to catch killer, no anger, nothing whatsoever..as if walking out of house and being killed by random killer is normal thing that should be accepted as a fact of life

For some reason I get bad vibes from SR, she is either involved in this and maybe dad is covering up for her or she knows what happened and playing dumb.
Would she have been able, to go where ever (Uni or work) in the morning, if she was/is the main culprit?

Lawyers want Borce Ristevski committed on manslaughter not murder, court hears
Category: | Herald Sun

Hallows told the magistrate they plan to make a submission of manslaughter. That is not an indication he would plead guilty.
