Maybe our pal Rickard wanted to avoid the rush when buying some items discreetly.....

Checklist for a murderer at Bunnings

Cable ties, rope, Stanley knife, lump of 4x2 and a whopping big chain saw...just because.

I was going to write this long post.....but decided not to...lol..

Short an sweet.... a friend in seymour went missing in seymour.......she was missing 2 months...police care...factor zero..

My daughter went missing 6 years ago..... first responding police officers actions behaviour. ....Mmmmm I cant post..as it will be deleted due to language ...

Based on my own experiences for my daughter and very recently what little was done for the lady I knew/know....very little is done media wise......unless the family is the driving force to get a story out there....

ETA.......ohhhh yes...I found my daughter.....not police.

If it was an item related to Karen or her disappearance thrown off the bridge, it may not look like a logical place to dump evidence to us, but a person who has just committed a crime won't be thinking the way we all do retrospectively. The thought of water destroying evidence may have been all that was needed for the person to be motivated to (possibly) toss something in.

How recent Bo? That could be an interesting lead if a relative and cause of death. You never know.

In 2011 but police just linked a man to his death late last year.

For a total stranger......someone thats not local maybe.....But anyone related or is local to the area....No Way...

I think Im the third person on this thread who is local or in least grew up in the area.......and Im going out on a limb to be crucified....

There is so little logic to say someone would go to that location to despose..throw evidence. ......you would either have to be crazy or full blown insane....its a one lane overpass on the bridge...even at the oddest hour...there would be some traffic..and you would cause a lane blockage........

Fresh search for missing Melbourne mother

I'm seeing far better spots to access the river other than the bridge.
What is that building there & would that have CCTV?

There's what looks like an industrial area opposite the bridge. Maybe something could have been put into the water there and then become snagged somewhere under or around the bridge? I'm checking Google maps to see where that industrial estate is and what businesses are there. May take a while and won't start until tomorrow.

Sorry to hear this, Puggs. You must've been beside yourself. I have to agree about the bias sometimes exhibited by Police but we have to realise they are flawed human beings just as we are; not that it lessens the families' pain (especially yours my dear Puggs).

OK interesting...it's a Tavern/pub overlooking the bridge & river. They've definitely got cameras.

Ha ha great minds think alike, tgy. I'll leave the location sleuthing to you and get some shuteye. I wonder if this is someone's regular Ascot Vale watering hole (no pun intended)?

Me either, hence my curiosity. Haven't dug around much yet though.

I'm with Puggs, tgy. Quit it. I'm about to go to sleep and now I have John Jarratt's evil laugh and face in my mind's eye. If I have nightmares, I'm blaming you.

Thanks Bo....Im just trying to draw in from my own experience.......truth is....Police didnt seem to give a shiate...like it was common...which it may well be.

Maybe a bit of desensitized police attitute.......for me...as a worried family member it was nothing short of a nightmare......so the question would be....... for me at least based on my experience...who called in the media?.

If it was the family instigating it.....then credit to them...... Im having trouble reconcilling it was the police so quickly based on my experience.

That lady I mentioned from Seymour that I knew.....I would have had her name and face main stream media asap given what I knew of her personally.......but she only got a vicpol facebook outreach for weeks..

I Found my daughter (13) 24 hours or about later.....I found her ......they weren't looking...that was obvious following calls made to the same police station .....where I had to repeat all details from the previous night.......even when I said she had psychological issues following the 2009 Bushfires.....We had lost everything. ......but worst of all our pets had died..she was feeling guilty because of this.....

Just some insight into how some police work in different suburbs......

You-know-who has been posting rantings on FB all night long (with the last post being 34 minutes ago).

I feel like today could be the day that more information comes out.
