I do and then don't....... It would be good to know what times Police are checking CTV'S from the locals. Did the daughter see her Mother in the morning or does she leave for work before her Mum gets up? Have the Police focused on any other times besides 10am? I find it interesting that a 'Find Karen' facebook page hasn't been set up.......

I'm only seeing posts from 1 hour ago. Bit hard to tell yet but it seems that it may be a random person who has set it up.....

If some items are found of Karen's near the bridge it still means that she went into the water further upstream towards her home.

I wonder where this search for weapons or other items comes from. Seems very specific when it says weapons, perhaps mentioned by a police officer in an off-the-record kinda way?
Which then leads me to wonder if they have seen unsatisfactorily-explained blood traces, or bleach (a la John Chardon), or heard about some other indicator of violence somewhere ... maybe during an argument.


ETA: In fact, the way it is written, it looks as though Detective Senior Sergeant Craig Rhodes may have said it .. although it is not directly attributed to him.

Sorry Strangeworld ....... I just came back and re read last nigts postings ..... And yes I totally agree with what your saying, yes the thought of water destroying evidencd would be a motivator.

Yep, and how many criminals have done stupid things in the moment, thinking they are totally able to outwit the police, the community, etc. Not realising they are probably seen or leave evidence behind, or put themselves in the spotlight. Though we shouldn't complain, most of the time their stupidness gets them arrested :dance:

Yep; if I'm reading it correctly it was set up 7 hours ago ... roughly about the time a few of us noticed that no such page existed.

Interesting that the Site Administrator has mentioned the Websleuths and MDS links but not the Aussie Crooks and Criminals one on which someone claimed to be in the know that she is alive and seeking legal advice about the situation (surely if they are pro-AR they would've included this?).

Personally, I think the screen shots of the allegations (in relation to the 'family secret') are in very poor taste at this time - surely the focus should be on finding Karen rather than dredging up all of their family battles. JMHO.

Thanks, insanity, although that's 20 minutes of my time I'll never get back. Some 'Missing Person's' page - I've never seen one like it before. I guess there's a time for everything.
