What you you think of the reaction of Sarah when she shakes her head 'no' at 0:52 when the reporter asks if he can ask the family a question and the aunt steps in and says 'no'!. IMO there is something not right here. I really think it's fear.

In the industries I've worked in I've seen this look of foreboding before on women's faces when their husbands are questioned.
Like 'dont go there' warning.

My hinky meter keeps pointing towards him.

The body language tells me that the young girl is terrified. There seems to be more to it i agree, that was my first impression. I cant quite put my finger on a description for Borce, puzzlement?

The river search was always an afterthought. The latest river search seems to have been prompted by information from a member of the public, and it did not yield anything. Karen is not in the river.

Going back to a comment i made a few pages back, its really hard to say what I was thinking due to the fact that the family may be reading all of these posts and there is no way I wish to cause anymore pain to them.

But is there a family member we haven't considered could have done this? Borce could be covering for someone else.

If Karen was killed inside/around the house I don't think she's in the river either.
Just too risky. It's steep down to the river and there would be a chance of being seen and heard.

Takes a deep breath .... I have kept off here for a few days because of my thoughts, what if the daughter got into a heated argument with her mother?

Has any one in the street come forward with any CCTV footage as yet?

Its all centred on the house basically, but we have no witnesses or footage of a possible car at some point or karen leaving.

Their two cars have been looked over, a thrid party with own vehicle?

Im starting to open to a change from the stranger angle somewhat.

Thanks for that clip, I hadn't seen it before.

I'm now leaning toward suicide, the financial pressures of the shop and the possible problems within the family make me think it all just got too much for Karen. The only thing that maybe points against that is why she would take her handbag and purse but maybe that was just done on autopilot.

We're all different but I wonder if many people would pick those up if going out of the house in a rage to cool off, that doesn't ring true to me either. If the arguement was the night before maybe did one sleep in the spare room, might make it hard to know exactly when she was last seen JMO

Like sleepinoz, today I reviewed all of the ACA videos regarding Karen's disappearance.
At one of the press conferences, the officer in charge said that they were reviewing any CCTV they found in the area. Then a reporter mumbled something and the officer responded with "no, not yet". I think the reporter may have said something like 'did you see Karen on it'. Not sure.
Take that as you will, but I think they were still in the process of reviewing the CCTV footage.

If it is anything like Morgan Huxley's case where they were anxiously trying to see what happened on Morgan's walk home, they will have picked up CCTV from shops, petrol stations, any council CCTV, as well as residential. After reviewing all the material, they located Morgan on several CCTV recordings - and they also saw the person who was later charged with his murder.

I have looked carefully at that video and was going to post with regards to Borce, but deleted as I know I am fighting the tide in finding the guy credible. When the question is put to Borce, Patricia intervenes immediately, and very quickly the woman in the black jacket with furry hood is the one to end the interview. As confronted, Borce begins to move side to side in some distress, but it is only once the woman wearing black says "ok let's end this guys" (or similar) does he turn and walk away as she gestures to them to move away. Then the woman stands between them and the reporters as Patricia speaks again. I am assuming she is a media liaison for the police and the understanding was that Borce and Sarah were not going to talk.

I can imagine him clarifying a question shot at him about the CCTV when the answer is straightforward and the alternate view has been skewed against him in the press but when pressed about doing another "appearance/appeal" he sites the police as the reason he isn't. I can also fathom the police having a blanket statement that they don't discourage people from speaking to the media that the reporter trots out to contrast to Borce's statement - but given the last media appeal looks to be organised with police and ended by police, and they stayed silent through the allegations ... seems neutral to me as to his involvement.

I don't see this one as being half as clear as GBC, or the other fools who murder their wives and come up with a silly story ... time will tell, I've been wrong before.

I wonder if AR and VR (brother-in-law) have any sort of relationship?

VR sets my spidey tingly senses off for some reason. I could be wrong, but I just get a feeling about him (and not a very good one!).

I'm sensing that Karen was a very proud person ... does that mean she wouldn't be capable of ending her life? I don't know ... desperate people do desperate things and it's very easy to say, from where I'm sitting, "Why not just sell the house, clear the debts, and downsize to a rental until things get sorted?" ... but maybe she was too proud to even entertain that sort of thought.

I'm starting to think this case won't ever be solved. I doubt the 'family secret' that we already know about is the only one this lot have, for some reason. Actually, I'm very surprised that all the details came out early in the piece about their financial predicament - BR didn't even need to say what they had words about; it's nobody's business and I think it would've been better if he'd left the general public to speculate (of course, he would've had to tell the police).

If I was on this investigation team, I would be seeing CCTV footage from one of the houses further down the street showing all the comings and goings from three days before KR was seen. Working through the process of identifying each and every one, and singling out the ones that don't reside in the street for interviews and examination.

Not one of us knows the family dynamics ect, reading into body language ect is grasping at straws, put you yourself in the position of a husband and daughter with a missing wife, parent and not one of us would know how we would react. Shock is all I can see.

I thought he just looked hurt, when the reporter asked the question he just shoots him a 'how could you' look.

Very true ... and the ones who don't 'act out' enough are criticised for not caring; then the ones that are highly emotional are criticised for over-acting.

People handle grief in different ways.

My sons fiancee advised that the corner of Templewood Drive and Milleara Road were blocked off most of the day. The area is 3 minutes from 23 Oakley.

Karen "seems like a really good person" ??? From what, there has been hardly anyone besides an earlier request for help from a charity she was involved in. Can't see much else written or reported that points in the direction of her being a "really nice person"

I said "proud" person - not nice person (big difference). As I commented earlier, I've only seen a couple of customers comment (on FB) that she was helpful and lovely.

Do you know who had the area blocked off?

Im totally getting what you are saying Oz.

There a few things that are missing .... atm ..... like a mistress..... a payday for her death...

actually her going missing will probably ruin their business and put further financial stress on the family/businesses.....and they will end up losing their house ..........motive...??

The fact they have been married 25 years and for at least 16 of those years that we know of they have been in business together... they have obviously been able to overcome a rather stresfull $$$ event together, like the collapse of Borce and Vlaskos business which she was a financial contributor. ....think she lost around $30,000 in that venture.

Im not feeling it atm that he is responsible ....and nothing has been presented so far that has significantly shifted that thought.

The best I can come up with is maybe he did something.....

Wow thanks emirates, you are gold!! I looked at group of shops earlier today. I was looking for commercial dumpsters behind those shops. Opposite those shops (I think) is a Catholic church or school. Again commercial dumpsters. I imagine they would have been emptied by now.
