If its at the back of templewood, there is a drain behind there.

A friend of mine lives in Templewood - it actually looks like a riverbed that has dried up.

ahh my tweets disappeared

hop on twitter and search for "avondale heights" ... you'll see the photos of the car smashed into the nail salon ... compare it to the street view.
Thanks Oz.

Is there a life insurance policy?

Who would need "courage" to talk to the police. Someone who is scared. They know the details but are too scared to talk to the police. Is that because they feel involved/responsible and are scared of owning up; or is it that they're scared of the killer/s, scared of breaking rank or 'dobbing'...

Any chance it's got something to do with organised crime? Maybe money was borrowed from some scary people?

All complete speculation. Just brainstorming. The use of the word "courage" by the police is extremely significant IMO.

It is possible that the courage thing may be as simple as having the courage to dob on a relative/friend/neighbour and then stick with the commitment to testify, if required, in the future.
(Look at what happened to poor Josh Rathmell who was a witness in the Simon Gittany court case. I used to wonder if he would have agreed to be a witness if he was not due to live overseas for a while.)

And I thought about the large debt for some time recently, and thought that it would all be legitimate, recorded debt. As I don't think anyone would mention any 'shady' kind of debt. Which is not to say that there is not further debt that has not been mentioned to the public, of course. I am still puzzled as to why they thought they could dig out from under that much debt without declaring bankruptcy. Though I guess it is possible that they were considering that too. The tax dept would have been pushing for it by now, if they owed back taxes for that long.

IMO - this $600,000 debt has been reported wrongly at the least it's misleading.

The Blue Laser Jean Co collapsed with $600k of Unsecured Debt - Because Blue Laser Jean Co is a Pty Ltd Company - the Company had that debt NOT Borce and Vasko.
Pty Ltd Co's are considered a separate entity to their Directors and Shareholders - If they signed personal guarantee's they would be responsible, which is doubtful if the debt is unsecured.

What this basically means is that loans were made to the Company without any security (like a mortgage over a house etc), and Creditors owed anything for goods supplied would be included in the total amount.

Borce was owed $290k and Karen $30k - that would be their loss - NOT the whole $600k. If they borrowed to lend to the Company, then yes they would have to repay those amounts to whoever they borrowed it from. My guess is they had enough equity in the house to cover these debts, or even took out a second mortgage.

Blue Laser Jean Co Pty Ltd & Blue Laser Jean Co Pty Ltd (In Liquidation) - details here:

The Australian article that first reported the financial problems:
http://www.theaustralian.com.au/new...t/news-story/7b0d23acfbce06c11b31e022a7b7161e

The Ristevskis were personally hit hard by the collapse. Mr Ristevski lost a $290,000 loan he had made to the business while members of his extended family lost $55,000 in loans. Mrs Ristevski was owed $30,000.

Their major working partnership was with Bradmill textiles under a restructure of that company affect Blue laser jean co.

I'm not sure how to take this article & the way it's written with what we know about the cameras not working.

This comes after police revealed CCTV footage at Mrs Ristevski's home did not show her leaving the property on the day she disappeared on June 29 as her husband claimed, Herald Sun reported.
Mr Ristevski told police the last time he saw his wife was at around 10am that day, when she left the family home on foot after the couple had an argument.
Her neighbours also said they didn't see her on the morning she went missing.

Agree, the word 'courage' really stands out from the norm.

Hmm interesting maybe another angle , http://www.domain.com.au/news/forme...0-million-to-local-developer-20150903-gjdxtp/.

http://www.resdenim.com/about-us/

It looks as if Bradmill has gone on and up. Moving into the US market under resdenim.

Just trying to see everything maybe nothing, i'll continue looking ..........

While under some debt, $290,000 was loaned to Borce whom loaned it to Blue jean co.

That's a lot of money to loan im wondering where this came from?

BBM - Where did you read this?

We don't know for sure that he did borrow it, as far as we know he could have already had the $290k

He may have borrowed it, we don't actually know do we? Or he could have mortgaged the house.

Business loan? He may have had equity in another home at the time?

  • #595
... Or possibly loan sharks ("payday loans") which have far greater interest rates than banks. It wouldn't take long for a debt with one of them to spiral out of control ...

  • #596
Sleepinoz - was assuming there was some debt before this.

Yes he may have already had the money?

I think your 100% correct re the reason why the 2nd FB site was created

To me the old business collapsing is done and dusted, those ramifications are over. It was colour for the media coverage. It is the current caveat that speaks to money troubles - they aren't coming for the house per se but they owe enough rent to make this legal step necessary in the landlord's eyes. The businesses are objectively not doing well at present even if we ignore Borce's reports about the disagreement as unproven. Anyone go to Watergardens, is the shop open? I wonder what Borce does for a living. Was Karen shouldering the burden for the whole family's income?

No definitive employment status other than with the family business, i also wonder what VR does now?

That same Australian article says Warrant Brands, lists Mr Ristevski as director and Mrs Ristevski as sole shareholder.
http://www.theaustralian.com.au/new...t/news-story/7b0d23acfbce06c11b31e022a7b7161e

Considering that both Borce and Karen own the Trading name Bella Bleu and Karen is the one that works in the Shop/s - my guess would be that Borce looks after Warrant Brands at Tullamarine - he does have experience in the Rag Trade.
