Do you know who had the area blocked off?
She didn't elaborate however it did sound like it was LE.

If its at the back of templewood, there is a drain behind there.
Thanks Oz.ahh my tweets disappeared
hop on twitter and search for "avondale heights" ... you'll see the photos of the car smashed into the nail salon ... compare it to the street view.
Is there a life insurance policy?
Who would need "courage" to talk to the police. Someone who is scared. They know the details but are too scared to talk to the police. Is that because they feel involved/responsible and are scared of owning up; or is it that they're scared of the killer/s, scared of breaking rank or 'dobbing'...
Any chance it's got something to do with organised crime? Maybe money was borrowed from some scary people?
All complete speculation. Just brainstorming. The use of the word "courage" by the police is extremely significant IMO.
It is possible that the courage thing may be as simple as having the courage to dob on a relative/friend/neighbour and then stick with the commitment to testify, if required, in the future.
(Look at what happened to poor Josh Rathmell who was a witness in the Simon Gittany court case. I used to wonder if he would have agreed to be a witness if he was not due to live overseas for a while.)
And I thought about the large debt for some time recently, and thought that it would all be legitimate, recorded debt. As I don't think anyone would mention any 'shady' kind of debt. Which is not to say that there is not further debt that has not been mentioned to the public, of course. I am still puzzled as to why they thought they could dig out from under that much debt without declaring bankruptcy. Though I guess it is possible that they were considering that too. The tax dept would have been pushing for it by now, if they owed back taxes for that long.
The Ristevskis were personally hit hard by the collapse. Mr Ristevski lost a $290,000 loan he had made to the business while members of his extended family lost $55,000 in loans. Mrs Ristevski was owed $30,000.

While under some debt, $290,000 was loaned to Borce whom loaned it to Blue jean co.
That's a lot of money to loan im wondering where this came from?
To me the old business collapsing is done and dusted, those ramifications are over. It was colour for the media coverage. It is the current caveat that speaks to money troubles - they aren't coming for the house per se but they owe enough rent to make this legal step necessary in the landlord's eyes. The businesses are objectively not doing well at present even if we ignore Borce's reports about the disagreement as unproven. Anyone go to Watergardens, is the shop open? I wonder what Borce does for a living. Was Karen shouldering the burden for the whole family's income?
