I still haven't been able to find anything that says where SR was the night before or the morning of KR's disappearance. Not saying she's involved, just weird that her whereabouts at those times have not been made public? The only thing I recall is that on radio interview she said that BR had told her that KR "went ballistic" over the shop sale...
Anyone got any more info on where she was-or said she was?

This is something we have never been able to determine.
My take on it is that Sarah was not at home, and so Karen told Borce that she was leaving him. A mother would wait until her child was not around.
Borce committed the angry act that others have committed before him, when faced with the certainty that his days as Karen's husband are up and he may lose most everything ... his lifestyle, at least.

Sarah has chosen to stick by her father. I would think they are close, with Karen travelling for stock-buying trips overseas, and working long hours at the shop .... Karen's absence being to help maintain their lifestyle, and send her daughter through private school.

When you just have one parent left, and you so desperately want to believe him, Sarah's choice may be one people would make. Could she believe that the father who showed her so much love and care could simply take her mother away from her like that?

Was this reported in the news or was this a story someone overheard from someone? ....The only witness to anything happening near the recovery site that I have heard memtioned in the news is the guy who saw some bloke with a shovel...

Just trying to sort out rumour .... and what has actually been reported..

A woman who owns a property nearby said she saw a white van, which looked out of place, parked near Loch Road last August. http://www.theage.com.au/victoria/u...eautiful-karen-ristevski-20170221-gui9t7.html

Another woman, who owns a block of land in Mt Macedon, came to tell police about a suspicious van seen in the area in August. She said the white van was parked unattended on the side of Loch Rd during the middle of the day.
The woman, who did not want to be named, said the van looked out of place on the isolated dirt track.

“It might not be anything, but you just never know,” she said. “I had this niggling in the back of my mind to do something.”

Investigators look for weak links,

SR may be spoken to again, although with a lawyer.

For a young woman its very tragic that this has happened losing her mother.

What does "Ballistic" really mean in the Ristevski Family?

Hi Puggle it came from the husbands wife. Husband saw the van and 3 people, he rendered help as it was bogged which was refused. The next time they walked the trail there empty lime sacks which is when they notified crime stoppers.

I wonder if anyone's credit cards or eftpos cards have been looked at any purchases of lime!! I suppose a smart person would use cash. Moo

the thing that always erk'd me a lot when SR face of grieving only 1 day after they announced her missing, i mean why is her face showing so much pain, i mean id be worried as well if my mum went missing but it totally looks like grief rather than just worried mum is missing or at a friends house hiding out, this to me was a very telling thing from the beginning

I'm assuming that LE have already checked if Mr Ristevski had any work driving to the Mount Macedon location-or thereabouts. Did they have difficulty procuring records from Uber? Might be easier now if there was a legal sticking point.

I think Uber were cooperating ....

Uber has launched an urgent internal investigation into whether Borce Ristevski, the husband of missing Melbourne woman Karen Ristevski, drove for the ride-sharing company on the day his wife disappeared.

Internal emails show executives at Uber were yesterday scrambling to contain any fallout after The Weekend Australian approached the company with questions about Mr Ristevski’s movements on the day his wife was last seen, nine weeks ago.

*****

“He’s not been asked to make another statement and he’s fully co-operated with police,” Ms Ljubicic said.
She declined to comment on Mr Ristevski’s work driving for Uber or the content of his statements.

Some people say its post knowledge, my first impression was exactly that. Thats why SR has been away from the media.

Empty lime bags may just have been in the back of a work van, and used to get the van un-bogged.
I'm not sure if this white van is involved. We have yet to encounter anyone in this horrible story who has a white van.

However, as I said before, it is SO important for others to tell anything they know or have seen at all. The Homicide squad need all information. Something(s) may be very important in compiling a solid case for trial.

OH *****!! You are right! That's not what I was seeing. Arghhhh!

Wasn't SR heading out the door to go to the University she was attending on the morning when she last saw her mother?

If you have a link for that, Karinna, it would be very useful. Because we have searched and searched for times and info about Sarah's presence. And have only found speculation, that I am aware of.

How did he escape that throng? Meanwhile Borce attends his city lawyers, all alone. Where's his supporters?

Someone posted a link earlier where it implied his family helpt him escape the media throng by creating a diversion of people delivering McDonalds .....sounds like his not alone and the family is actually rallying behind him...behind the scenes.

Will have a look and see what i can find. Might have to go back to the early threads to find it but i do remember something about it with SR going to Uni.

I read "The Murder of Allison Baden-Clay" (which was bloody FANTASTIC BTW) - and he studied the facial expressions, etc, of GBC during interviews. Borce's - are damn near identical - the frowning, the gestures. Everything here screams "we've seen this before". "Oh she went out for a walk" - even the excuse is the same."We've been having financial difficulties". Phones turned off on day of disappearance for no particular reason - I feel like I'm watching a murder re-run.

What's missing is the Grannie-pash. I'm still waiting for the toothless display of affection!

And I'm sure CCTV cameras will pick up the blue Merc at a round-about or even Toni McHugh just might walk from the shadows.

So many coincidences.

Thanks for the links SouthAussie ...about the sighting of a White Van..

But the rest of this speculation about a van getting bogged ... lime bags...A man, a woman and a boy ..... all that was just relayed word of mouth as a rumour passed on between people and was mentioned only here on WS ..... is that right?

Yes, I agree. We knew she was in Uni and speculated that maybe she had an early class, or had stayed with a friend overnight.
But I don't recall us ever finding an actual link stating anything like that.
