There are WPP's in Aus. As to their efficiency i'm not really sure

Mr Kowalick says that until now, witness protection arrangements in Australia have not been exposed to scholarly examination.

“The programs operate in secret, seemingly with little accountability. Some confidentially is obviously required, particularly in relation to the identity and location of participants in a witness protection program, but those conducting the programs rely on legal provisions to avoid answering any questions at all about how they operate.

“Historically speaking, witness protection programs have been successful and have supported the criminal justice system in the fight against serious and organised crime.

Karrina,
Hypothetically, would you have guts to testify against some mafia member that just killed your husband and dumped him in bushes?
Witness protection is laughable, SR and BRs lives would have to change 180 degrees if they decide to take that path, move to diff state, change names, sell shop, VR and his family would likely do the same.

Anyway, it would be impossible to hide forever, b grade PI would be able to find them them you end up nice pair of cement shoes[emoji148] [emoji148]

Are you speculating this case has Mafia connections attached to it? There is nothing in this case that makes me believe that. Otherwise i don't get your post?
It is a known fact that people are witnesses in court in trials in connection to criminal cases though, and no they don't go into witness protection either.

There has been no mention of the mafia in MSM. Not sure where this has come from.

I also posted up about WPP's in Aus. as a FYI because i wasn't sure if Aus. has such a programme. So yes it apparently does but not much is known about it from what i can see.
I don't really think the Ristevski's would need to do that because IMO the crime was committed in their inner family circle. All IMO

Exactly, but some posters have alluded to it on the threads with their theories, and is just mere speculation at this point.

Not sure if it has been discussed earlier on but could this be a cover up where KR took her own life and made to be a disappearance/murder as life insurance policies don't payout when someone takes their own life?

That would depend on if KR even had a life insurance policy though? And if her husband is found to be guilty of her death there won't be any payout on her life insurance to him.
And welcome to the thread, :welcome6:

Well she made contact with ZH for AR's sons birthday. Sounds like she doesn't get to see the kids much either.
Mmmm, mustn't have a good relationship with her grandkids mother. Sounds like there are a few issues there.

I used to see a psychotherapist and she said the most important relationship you will ever have is the one with your mum.... he isn't the way he is for nothing.

So it's his Mums fault......? So then it must be his Mum's Mums fault, making it his Mums Mums Mums fault. I see.

No, I didn't say that. He is an adult and needs to grow up and take responsibility.

I dont know much about mafis stuff so forgive me if Im naive... but wouldn't the police get some kind of indication if a ransom etc was involved? Wouldn't they have investigated all incoming/outgoing phone calls? How are they communicating their ransom deal?

I thought that this is what you were implying with this quote

'the most important relationship you will ever have is the one with your mum.... he isn't the way he is for nothing'
