Yes, I have always thought that the words 'what we can do to actually get her back' was a strange combination of words. It implies that Karen was 'taken', in my view. Could it be possible that Karen was actually 'taken' in the full or later knowledge of BR, as a consequence of non payment of some debt or non performance of some act, and would only be returned alive when debt paid or act done?

Didn't BR deny that the family were in financial dire straits recently? Where did that info. come from in the first place? They may have been in debt for $600,000 over the failed jeans business in the past,but it could of all been sorted out by the time Karen went missing for all we know? I don't necessarily trust all that i read in msn either, because we know they like to sensationalise facts to garner more readers. All IMO.

Not necessarily if they had an argument as BR has stated, and he thought he could coerce her to come back home, he would be perhaps thinking "i can get her back", and that was his line of his script?

A little average - however AR never retaliates... and who knows - maybe its AL speaking how it actually is.
Looks like AR isn't an overly popular lad. I think I expected more comments yesterday with the church steeple photo.... but he only got a few...

I doubt that's his friend at all.
Most of those fb "friends", aren't really friends . He had 230 odd friends before this case. Once AR was linked to this case , many people befriended him to get access to his ramblings. I doubt he made close to 3000 friends over the past months . He's also raked up over 900 followers as well.

If AR is 32 years as was stated in one msn article that would make it abt 1984.
If Karen was 16 years when she met Borce that would make it about 1985.

Did it say what she studied as that might have enabled her to take a heavy load off Karen. Many children work in the family business and are groomed to eventually take over. The MSM article said she was promoted a manager and worked since 2010.

I think it's great to have a reliable family member involved, let's face it, who else can you trust?

It now appears that Sarah has had more involvement in the running of the business than we originally thought....it has also been stated in the media from staff that Borce spent a lot of time at the shop helping Karen even when she wasn't busy....also, that Borce was very supportive of Karen's ideas.

It is now looking more like a "family business" with this latest news that Sarah has been working in the shop since 2010...
Maybe she started part-time while she was at college and uni, building up to full-time employment and now a manager....

Is it possible that Sarah has completed her uni degree?....if so, why would Karen's friend have started that GoFundMe page for Sarah if she is a manger at the shop?....it doesn't make sense to me....the trouble is, we can't believe everything that the media reports...

After all in Borce's words to Sarah, was that an argument broke out about shop takings and that Karen had had a bad day at work the day before she went missing....so that means Borce and Sarah really were entitled to have their say and voice their opinions on how to run the business....it throws a different light on the situation altogether....so was the business their only source of income, as well as Borce driving for Uber until Karen's death?

I'm now getting a feeling that Borce and Sarah may have supported one another's ideas re having the sale on selected items etc.etc. and Karen felt that they were going against her and it all went downhill from there..MOO

My understanding is that she met BR when she was 16 but they were not married until she was 22.

Mr Ristevski arrived at the funeral, at St John’s Uniting Church in Essendon, with his 21-year-old daughter Sarah, Karen’s only child, who has stood by him...
They arrived in a sliver Chrysler through the back entrance of the church about half an hour before the 10.30 service started.

Ms Ristevski’s brother, Stephen Williams, arrived at the front entrance of the church at about 10.15, where he was greeted by half a dozen friends who hugged him. He talked to them for a few minutes before walking inside the church.

I feel for Stephen.
I wonder if Borce has visited the site Karen was found as did Stephen?
