Some one is an informer and is providing information on many investigations or one rather large one. Informer may would not be the accused. He's a patsy or the champ, depending on who is involved.

The notorious Victorian murderer who killed mother-of-three Kylie Blackwood has been found dead in prison, sparking a homicide investigation.

Scott Murdoch, 43, was found dead in his cell at Melbourne Assessment Prison on Monday morning.

His cause of death is being investigated by homicide squad detectives and the coroner.
