He did not live at the Buccan address where he fled from. He has been hiding from Police since the March warrant was issued for his return to prison. He was known to "frequent" the Buccan address. The black ute was stolen from bayside Brisbane three weeks earlier
Thanks that’s what I thought. So was this victim killed at the house or did he drive around with that drum. I think they haven’t confirmed identity due to wanting him. But was he driving around with her in the back of car ? If she was killed at that house, then I wonder if they will charge others from the home.

Off topic, but to answer:
Today, I was walking my dog, near an industrial area.
A guy, came out.
Charming. Introduced himself, and asked 'if i would like loads of ribbons, for free', as he was closing down his store.
I answered, "Sure"
He stated, I need to come upstairs!!
I said, I'll wait outside.
He again invited me, "to just go up the stairs, and I am welcome to bring my dog".
I declined.
He then states, "I can't help you".

What would a gullible young girl have done?
Got involved and then with time.......
What ??? “I can’t help you” after you say no to going inside.
He must have been a weirdo ! That is scary don’t walk that way again please goodness me.

Yep. Quite worried, as i walked away.
Later I thought, I'll be alert, if I hear anything happening in the area.
He may move around, to other areas.
He possibly, is on the look out, for women: most charming!!
Wonder what stories, he presents.

Police expected to lay murder charge over body in barrel after siege ends
Police are expected to charge Zlatko Sikorsky with the murder of 16-year-old Larissa Beilby, after the wanted man surrendered to police following a 27-hour stand-off on the Sunshine Coast.

Mr Sikorsky was taken to the Maroochydore watch house after the siege at an Alexandra Headland apartment complex came to a peaceful end just before 6:30pm on Saturday.

The 34-year-old is being interviewed by detectives and the ABC understands he will be charged with murder.

It is understood police have formally identified a female body found in a barrel on Wednesday as Larissa Beilby.

Still all conjecture at this stage. Hopefully he will talk and we will get some facts on what did happen.

I certainly would not be surprised if others were involved.

Thanks Symbah. They have now confirmed it is Larissa. Sad for her family. I think it was obvious and they must have waited until they had him. I will be checking the docket Monday morning for Maroochydore as this article states the woman is back Monday again.

So so sad

It is understood police have formally identified a female body found in a barrel on Wednesday as Larissa Beilby

On Saturday night, Larissa's family posted a tribute to the teenager on Facebook.

"With a broken heart shattered into more than a million pieces our family is utterly destroyed to inform you all that Larissa has been taken from us," they wrote.

"Our beautiful girl has been reunited with our beloved wife and mother. Fly high our darling angel, until we see you again Rissy."

From ABC reports, it appears “joe” will be questioned too.

Oh.. charged too!
“The ABC understands the man who lives in the Alexandra Headland unit Mr Sikorsky was in during the siege faces accusations of helping to shield the fugitive during the police manhunt and he is expected to be charged with being an accessory to murder“

i hate saying this but at least now with Larissa identified as the one in the we don't have two bodies as was first thought

i don't know that i would cope at all with something like this happening to one of my kids or gandkids

my thoughts go out to the family and while it is of little comfort they have caught the person/persons responsible

i am so sorry for the family and i am thinking about them at this time of tragic loss

A mate he hasn’t seen for about 18 months rang and said can I pop in.
When the mate turned up, he had another guy with him, Joe had never seen this other guy before, and had not seen any of the mugshots on the TV of know the story about the Ute, etc.
The Mate, (who he hasn’t seen for 18 months) asks if the stranger he just bought around can stay at Joes.
Joe says sure.
Then Mate leaves, because he had to go and see his kids.

Are there any questions for Joe?

So far the woman who brought him there and the owner of the unit have been arrested and charged. The twit who gave the interview . Said he did not know who he was ! Um yeah right. Police did not buy that story. Joe now charged. And the mystery 40 year old woman

No just the woman from what they are saying brought him. The other arrested was Joe, unit owner

So when he said “he went to see his kids” he meant she !
This is one time Joe should have listened to his partner. That’s what the argument sounds like it may have been about that caused the manager to come up to the unit.
I am feeling very sad for LB family. They have a long road of grief and justice ahead.
