Joseph Geiger faced court via videolink and complained to the court that he was due to start a new job today.

A bail application for Mr Geiger was adjourned until tomorrow.

Outside court, lawyer Brendan Ryan maintained that Mr Sikorsky would fight the murder charge, but would not defend many of the other 19 charges police have laid against him.

"There are a lot of fresh allegations that the police have allowed me to see this morning, so all of those allegations in due course will be addressed," Mr Ryan said.

"There's a lot of fresh charges that have been brought against my client.

"A lot of those charges won't be defended. Police have located various items in the unit that he was located in so those charges will not be defended."

His lawyer is known to always be sprouting off in defence of his so called innocent clients. We have encountered him and others from his firm many times at work He has a job to do. To get his client as little time as possible behind bars. Whilst everyone is entitled to a defence, working within the system we see a lot of what goes on behind the scenes.

A Daily Mail article said that she had been beaten. I know the DM is a tabloid and exaggerates things but they usually don't straight out lie and make up things. Someone must have leaked something.

Police will allege Sikorsky detained Ms Beilby against her will and tortured her prior to her death.

9NEWS understands Sikorsky is still not co-operating with police after his arrest at an address on the Sunshine Coast yesterday.

Sikorsky has hired a lawyer but can’t apply for bail.

It is understood police are investigating the possibility a wider criminal network helped sheltered Sikorsky from authorities while he was on the run.

A 40-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man have already been charged with being accessories after the fact to murder and will also face Maroochydore Magistrates Court today.

The man is the tenant of the unit Mr Sikorsky holed up in during the manhunt. He gave an interview to 9NEWS on the scene.

He told reporters that one of his friends, who he had not seen for a long time, had called him wanting to meet up before arriving with Sikorsky.

“I was home and a friend who I haven’t seen in a long time rang me up, he wanted to catch up,” he told 9NEWS.

The tenant continues, “I had no idea who he was.”

But under questioning, police claim it was revealed he did in fact know him.

As police continue their investigations they're urging anyone with details to come forward.

"Information is still vital to the investigation," Inspector Damien Hansen said.

"His movements. His connection to Larissa. We're interested in hearing from any person."
