STRIKE Force detectives have searched an overgrown horse training pool and a creek at Kangy Angy for evidence in the suspicisous disappearance of Leisl Smith.

Police divers conducted a slow and meticulous line search today - wading through an overgrown former horse training pool and a creek that surrounds the quiet, secluded property.

A well known property too - a great trainer in the 1980s - NOTHING to do with this case ... unfortunately the (ex)property owner's daughter was killed working with horses, however, this was after he sold that property and bought another - at that time he was winning well over Australia with TB racing - After his daughter's death he never trained a horse again.

Hence the horse swimming pool etc being unused etc.

I have been off line for a little while so forgive me please for asking: Has there been a media release saying that the searches have revealed nothing?
May I ask whom is TB? Sorry I missed something. I will go back over when I have a moment.
So this POI is someone that has had a history and therefore would be well known to authorities? Or maybe it is that his history has become unveiled with Leisl's disappearance?
I believe the authorities are building a strong "hole proof" case! To the One or Ones involved - Its only a matter of time before they are made be accountable... Just waiting for that day!
The family and friends of Leisl endure day in day out anguish that I just can't imagine. My heart and prayers go out to them.

Local Radio (2GO) 8am News, Police have moved on from the property at Kangy Angy they were searching and are now at a property at Jilliby - where they are excavating.

The search for evidence continued at a property backing onto Jilliby Rd, Jilliby with heavy excavating and hand excavating conducted on the property by crime scene police from Newcastle and Sydney, as well as detectives from Strike Force Wehl.

We were coming out of Wyong .....

and we buy choko pickles etc down Jilliby Rd ....

We saw a great big blue and white (like forsenic truck) ahead of us disappearing into the distance ....

Do not know where it went ....

Just a thought,
I wonder if Leisl went to talk to this person of interest and met up around the Tuggerah train station/supa-centre area.... Maybe went in their vehicle to a property and talked on their way... Maybe conversation got heated and she says let me out, so they drop her off and as Leisl is quite happy with nature an it's surrounds, maybe she just wandered around and something has happened from there? Also thinking maybe she tried to get out of a moving vehicle around the searched areas? I am just thinking out loud as to why the searches are over such vast areas and not specific pin point accuracy... I'd say POI is giving up most info but not final specifics as to not implicate themselves too much..

Whoever is involved must be squirming in their bed at night and I say to them "Enjoy your freedom while you can"...

Leisl's family have endured what we all hope we never have to go through, so our collective thoughts and prayers go out to them continuously.

The truth will rise to the surface all in good time.
