Justice McCallum coughs once. She has done an incredible job reading her judgment aloud. Worth noting she's done all this in under 2 weeks

Thank goodness she won't have to talk too much while she's listening to evidence in the trial that starts tomorrow.

Lisa was "calmly collecting her strength and preparing to leave" her relationship with #gittany when she died

I wish they could give the verdict, and then go through the reasons!

Just jumping off your post...

but I have been wondering the same thing... As to the why that it is done this way...

I imagine ... If a verdict was given at the beginning... And then the justification provided AFTER the fact...

that people would only hear what they want to hear... And disregard the other facts...

this way... It makes it more meaningful... Because to all who would be interested in appealing is going through the "not knowing"... And therefore may be hanging onto each word/phrase...

Just an idea...

and I am no expert...

Earlier, the court heard that Gittany gave evidence like "someone playing a role" with claims that "lack the richness of actual experience".

Justice McCallum said she didn't find him to be a convincing witness but rather someone who made sure evidence "fitted neatly with the objective evidence".

How he must hate hearing all his 'roles' being shredded. And by a smart and asture woman. What he wanted shredded just hasn't washed at all, and when heard in an hours long narrative, it really goes to show just how devious and manipulative he attempted to paint the picture. Almost like he was hard done by with her killing herself. What a loser and I hope his sentence, (which I'm sure will be imminent) is very long.
