Somebody asked about Occupied Germany. This refers to the occupation of Germany by the Allies post-WW2. It was split between British, French, Soviets and US, who each managed an area. Also post WW2 Germany was smaller than pre WW2 as lands which had been previously annexed from other bordering countries were returned to them.

Tamborine - Cedar Creek - 12,000ac cedar trees Mmmmm?
Yes I saw this too a while ago… he likes to use a wee bit of truth in a story.. maybe this is the missing cedar trees.. or he just drove past it once and went hmm I might use that in a tale

I think it's a fair bet that what is on the map these days bears no relation to what was there previously. This part of Queensland, Logan council area has undergone massive development and population increase.
very true however some of the early settlers I believe may still be linked..
I recall him saying something about it was 2 blocks and he sold one off due to the cost of weed spraying.. so does he still have the other half now?

I haven't been able to access all the latest links yet with all the companies attached to RB, but can someone confirm the millions are shown as turnover/profit somewhere and not just part of a fabricated story? I am just wondering whether all these addresses and companies were used for fake IDs, new bank account scams, investor scams etc and/or business postal addresses to cover his tracks (we know he likes a PO box..) and were the proceeds of crime, but not in the millions?

There's a few nice properties along that road!

So my thoughts are we need to track the constant name changes and closing of companies agains travel dates..

but already I’m seeing some obvious ones

These finds are huge!

Totally agree. Once I get home and crank up my spreadsheets I was heading down this path. Although many are way way ahead of me.

edited to delete a double post

Well done to the Sussex sleuth finding the baptisms.

That does not surprise me. Without going into a huge long lecture about British education, some schools in England are administered by the Church of England. This is the Protestant church not the Roman Catholic one. These schools have separate admission rules and being baptised in the Church of England is usually top of the list. The only school in Burwash is a Church of England (also CE or CofE) one. Looking at a map, most of the other primary schools in that area are CofE too. At the age the kids were at the time, the parents would be looking at schools and realised that if there were more kids than spaces, they'd be at the back of the queue and perhaps have to drive their kids miles. So got them baptised.

This really isn't an unusual move, parents do it all the time and it doesn't indicate that they were religious or pretending to be religious in any way.

Local council electoral rolls include non resident landowners. Not sure if they’re publicly available though.

Thanks so much Gymtonic, totally fabulous .... missed out on responding on thread 9. I just played the French translation of European - européenne - and yes, it does sound like it, and played the de sièges - yes, sounds like that too ..... h'mm, so need to find the company called Europeenne de sièges :) Good on ya!

"I believe he says : European de sièges (which would roughly translate as European seats)"

My take on this - just translating the document and not having a sense of the company document chase that is going on - is that this document lists Freddy David (Bank Manager, address) as the Liquidator of a company possibly called David - Sansone
I read it as his name David Freddy Sansone ie Freddy as a middle name

So here likely is the company...
Distribution Europeenne De Sieges Et De Meubles SA which translate to European Distribution Of Seats And Furniture SA

I found it at Desm, Distribution Europeenne De Sieges Et De Meubles SA

The interesting snippet is that the downloadable documentation is dated Sep 9, 1997 which is around the time Marion disappeared.

Getting more interesting all the time!

Also just found on another site at BERTRANGE, Luxembourg Liste de sièges sociaux | Info-clipper.com that the company's head office was in BERTRANGE, Luxembourg.

:D WW might have been friends with Elvis Presley, who was in West Germany from 1958-1960!

There are also social benefits to being involved with a local church. I wonder who the godparents were for the baptisms?

Can anyone help me with the following names, anyone remember these names from the inquest?

Michel Dumont
Franco Sansone or Sansone Franco

Just noticed a Jean Dumont from the NAA files.

He didn’t like admitting that he had been to Tunbridge Wells other than taking his daughter to hospital in Tunbridge Wells 3 times. That was either the Kent & Sussex or Pembury Hospitals (for non UK posters these hospitals have been in the news recently for sickening crimes carried out by employee David Fuller but that’s another story)

Like so much this guy spouts you can probably take that with a pinch of salt. I don’t believe Marion ending up there in the first few days of her visit was by accident.

I still believe Marion stayed at The Swan Hotel in Tunbridge Wells. It’s in the middle of The Pantiles. It seems to fit Mr aka’s criteria (pub, restaurant, rooms in a small hotel) and Marion’s description of quaint perfectly.

I am going to contact the church to see if it is possible to view their baptism register, as it’s too recent to be in the East Sussex Records Office. I am hoping it may name the godparents and also list the father’s occupation.

In Dutch it actually says that “ De Hedervary Frederick since 23 mei 2021”, which means FdH is the owner since 23th of may 2021. Which means that up until then he was using this business OR he knew someone was getting close finding a lot about him and his scams out and he changed names therefor?

Now this one is on the money!
Active up until May 2021
So Renov Pubs hasn't cancelled and moved onto other businesses.
ALL businesses still aligned with FdeH I would say. He just tried to hide it all.
Interesting find !

So with both WW and IK having the same address here -
rue des Francs, 46
1040 Etterbeek
Belgique

and activities still going on from that company leads me to suspect that this is a tax evasion company under the viso
Cordemans et Cie company and here is the 'tax advisor' Albert Cordemans and Dorothea Maslowska the A Team..
could be the 'dentist' and friend 'Maz'

And this could explain why I think WW and IK ( possibly without her knowing) have come out here in 1969 to set up an establishment in Australia. His REAL reason for using her to get residency fast and then heading back home.

IMO Just surmising

I am wondering if RB abandoned MB in Tunbridge Wells after a few days, stole enough of her ID to be able to access her bank accounts in Australia and he finally told her that he was returning to Australia for some reason as he did with JO but he would be back. Marion became suspicious as she noticed these things missing and flew back to sort it out. Could this have been possible?

Search for the company at https://www.lbr.lu (direct link won’t work)
