His fiancée died just before liberation and I have tried searching for the names ( in various forms as it is really hard to decipher them) but so far I have hit a brick wall.

@mishy66 how is it known that his fiancee died? Not suggesting she didn't die, just can't see where the info came from with no name attached. As you prob already know, a lot of records at Ravensbruck were destroyed before liberation and there were quite a few 'satellite' camps, which doesn't help with the search. There are various lists of women held at the camps, but none I have been able to access. Do we know if she was Belgian? Not sure if any of this relevant to the current story, but some of the WW alias names are not random.

2. the account of Ian Robb's story that another sleuth found gives insight into the fiancée . It was this actual story that cemented what I had found already on RC.
3. I have my own believe about who his real mother is. - pure speculation on my part after research with locations / dates / passenger manifests etc etc etc marrying up, but to suggest it would be degrading her given what a creep he is.
I will say though, it is really interesting that he has never committed a crime under his deH alias.

Are you thinking it is the same lady who also went to the same university as EC ? Roberts brother ?

The fiancee dying 11days before liberation is so specific..feels frustratingly close.
I hear you ref the FDH alias. Searching for Pelerin, only found one potential candidate born in 1920, died 1946 but no details so dead end.

The ridiculous thing is, it’s never checked by anyone and worse he gets flagged years ago by immigration and still comes in and out on different passports different addresses the whole thing makes be frustrated and annoyed

I am not so sure they are random, I think he has connections close by and knows the addresses are vacant and that's why he uses them , the same applies to the development land in Tamborine, he cannot be contacted if anyone came looking and it worked up until now anyway IMO

Good point. Also the name DdeH keeps and uses. Almost like there's something sacred about it. For me, it's always been the name he aspires to. (Like my childhood friend who was adopted who told us Marilyn Monroe was her real mother.)

He has used the deH name once that I can recall - when he stole $30,000 from GGB. However, I don't think he has ever used the christian name "Robert". TBH though, I don't think he has respect for anybody.
Perhaps he tried to keep the deH name clean for his children but he couldn't even manage that. I think the next three days on the stand will be enlightening!

I would say incompetence.
Just have to look at how far SL has come in her own investigation to see had she believed the police back then that MB just wanted to disappear of her own accord, wonks would not be exposed for the criminal he is.

@eyespywithmylittleey IMO we are only privy to a small portion of a much bigger picture here. I believe "he" was a little fish in a big pond, but whose movements were being closely monitored by the powers that be, nationally and internationally.
