This is very very interesting! Given that R GORDON W father, R PENROSE W married his 2nd wife Elsie Weiss and they both knew the area well - she born there and him buried there....

I can NOT imagine for a minute RB would be part of this given one of the VOWS under the Community rules:
"Central to family life is marriage – Christ declared marriage to be the lifelong union of one man and one woman, and he intended it be a joyful union for the bearing and raising of children. In addition to making vows of poverty, Bruderhof members also make vows of chastity, which require abstinence before marriage and outside of it. "

Bruderhof Communities - Wikipedia

But I CAN imagine DdeH / possibly all W family, being part of this religious community -
RB having a wife dedicated to the life of the Bruderhof Christian Community would serve him VERY well in the life he leads.

A wife that stands by and believes all her husband tells her, as that is the way of the Bruderhof community.
THAT would appeal to him endlessly and maybe account for WHY it is DdeH has remained with him all this time.

Danthonia, the first Australian community, opened in 1999. The property, located in northern New South Wales, was originally owned by a homesteading family who raised sheep and cattle. In 2005, a house community in the town of Armidale was started.

A wife dedicated to the beliefs of the Bruderhof who busies herself in the communities here and abroad, particularly in Robertsbridge -approximately 10 miles (16 km) north of Hastings and 13 miles (21 km) south-east of Royal Tunbridge Wells. The River Rother passes through the village.
Robertsbridge - Wikipedia

In 1971, the Bruderhof purchased a property in Robertsbridge, East Sussex, United Kingdom called Darvell..... with the mission, in part, to reach people in Europe who couldn't travel to the USA.
The property, located near the historic town of Hastings.

With a small school in the village - perfect for anyone looking to move there to teach perhaps...?

Back in Elsmore they even have their own PUBLISHING HOUSE.
Their income comes from producing signs for many Towns, Cities, Councils, Businesses etc.... .They also produce and publish Christian books and magazines.

Going through the NAA files again on Wonka on page 53 it states in Tournai 1978 "forgery and use of forgery, counterfeit seal, stamps or imprints and usage there of...."

On page 56 there is the forged die in the name "Ye Old Passy" Tamborine and the forged stamps under the name BdP - I know this has all been discussed before @Estelle had noted this back in #7 thread

Pages 57/58 he stole a stamp collection to the value of 425,000 Fr from a Roger in Kokke-Heist, another stamp collection. In Blankenberghe stole 4 stamp albums from Israel and France valued at 250,000 Fr from a Ramon F.

In the SMH article A Sticky Business that @Eyespywithmylittleeye shared about The Greek, David Gee it reads - In Gee's garage, authorities found a number of counterfeit die plates.
A sticky business (smh.com.au)

I think it is fair to say Wonka has a vested interest in stamps and forgery @mishy66 @centred @BonnieB there is still a lot of money to be made in forgery stamps today | Stamp Auction (stampcircuit.com)
@Eyespywithmylittleeye I agree he very well could be the seller??

Yes I think it is fair to say his vested interest in stamps and forgery is more than likely and he may have dabbled in his fair share at "attempts" of stamp forgery given he has the tools on hand and runs in those circles . My intention of posts I shared about other players like the Greek and his protege in Australia wasn't necessarily suggesting he was any of those , more so an indicator that he was known to be already involved even before he came to Australia . He implied Australia was backward re being aware of prices etc , and there were periods in Aus. history where fortunes were way more lucrative , way more meaning a hell of a lot more in regards to stamps in particular . This period did not last for a long time but the timing was relative re his entry into Aust. So yes selling and forgery IMO

Yes I think I included that in the family linkup. RPENROSEW and Elsie and all their court dealingso_O

I haven't looked anymore into the Paul /Weiss connection @MrsWattle - do you have a link? (Don't tell me Elsie marries a Pauls  )

but I did find AP ran cattle and had a place called 'Riverview" Little Nymboida

Here is a bit of interesting info about nymboida

I searched on the WA BDM site a few times previously and came up blank o_O. Go figure; the least amount of information input is best, so with that in mind I searched RGW again. Low and behold, he is a real person and his birth is registered in WA! Still no joy on Ancestry though.

I don’t think he is The Greek either but I think the coin and stamp community all know each other and I do think he has possibly crossed paths with Gee and also The Greek. First comments on stamp forums about the Greek are 2012 and Gee died in 2o13. It is the 90’s that I’m interested in RB’s movements particularly 95 with his many trips. It’s possible there was a buyer of some sort in Japan.. whether it be stamps or coins.

Searching in Japan about coin fraud the biggest one is between 1988-1990.

COLUMN ONE : Coin Scam: A Japanese Gold Mine : When the government minted a tribute to the late emperor, it didn't bank on an $80-million swindle. Maybe it should have read the TV script.

Japan: All That Glitters - TIME

IMO this is too big time for RB.

But I still believe Japan was not about a free hotel - even though he is tight with his money. I think the overnight stop was for him to conduct some sort of business. And it’s quite possible based on his prior charges that stamps could be it. Possibly forged or possibly stolen collections.

I don’t think considering how many have been legally done that they will allow him to change again. If they do… then something is seriously wrong with ‘systems’ in place

:D For someone who always wanted to be a DeH, I think he's stuck with Mr Blooooom now. His tombstone will need to be a tower to accommodate his names.

That's ok - Elsie Weiss' parents were from Germany and spent their life in and around Elsmore ( the Buderhof Community began in Germany ..... HUGE farming family...RPENROSEW certainly landed on his feet marrying her after his divorce from ECAndersonWalker...

yes his was found a while ago but his sister was a mystery until now. I even searched her when his was found on WA BDM and couldnt find it either - too many names they went by ( I think at the time I was searching all Wynne variants!

Just been going over JO time with him and reading back over the post by @Lord Peter Flimsy who knows the area well ( I don't so am only guided by maps etc )

But reading his post here:
Australia - Australia - Marion Barter, 51, missing after trip to UK, June 1997 #10

Beech Grove Bruderhof settlement Founded in 1995 in Nonington, Kent
Beech Grove

Located in the Kentish North Downs, an area of gently rolling chalk hills and valleys, farmland, meadows, and woodlands, in the village of Nonington, halfway between the historic town of Canterbury and the white cliffs of Dover and are just sixteen kilometers from both the North Sea and the English Channel.

Beech Grove is known historically as the St. Albans Court Manor. Recorded residence on this site goes back over one thousand years. The property includes a Grade I listed Victorian manor and a medieval thatched cottage.

I can't get it out of my mind that the main focus is schooling - (schools seem to be another common denominator in RB dealings with people), giving up all possessions, Bruderhof members do not hold private property, but rather share everything. Members work inside the Bruderhof, and nobody receives a salary or has a bank account.

Founded in 1920, Plough is an independent publisher affiliated with the Bruderhof, an international Christian community movement.

Has this religious community been looked into before in regards to RB and MB?

I don't believe in any 'coincidences' when it comes to him....

Interesting… do you think MB ended up in Uk at a Bruhderhof community? Teaching? Money withdrawn to hand over ? not suggesting you are just curious on your thoughts

There is some connection with Inverell, given that AC has mentioned it, among other places, in questioning. I'd give my right arm for a look at the police file.

The more I have researched this Bruderhof community, the more I find connecting to this whole case. IT is nuts!

Has there ever been research done in relation to MB disappearance and this 'community' -

In fact, I am going to go out on a limb today and say RB/Walker families are in all of this IMO JMO MMO!!!
