The frustrating part of this is that on the podcast they were talking about new evidence and instead of getting to it we’ve got this… gentleman… wasting the courts time with these retractions and ridiculous lies.

I’m guessing that by showing him the transcript and police statement where he has contradicted himself several times - AC is highlighting that RB is not credible. He’s showing over and over again that this is not a credible witness, therefore nothing they say can be taken at face value.

I wonder if it would’ve been better to just leave the advertisement issue alone today so that RB didn’t have a chance to recant yet again. AC is a brilliant barrister so I’m sure he has a reason for revisiting it.
