As the Flora Bella design was only released in 1990 I checked my timeline again.
On Oct 6th 1992
RICHARD LLOYD WESTBURY departed for Europe, returning 3/11/92
Q: Did he continue/reignite his affair with Monique because shortly after his return to Australia he purchased a house at MIDWAY POINT, Tasmania and Letters and cards were sent to Monique Cornelius from Tasmania.

Absolutely agree Bonnie. This is where he used the name for Marion IMO also.
He loved and worshipped MC - attaching anything related to her was part of his fantasy.
He was besotted by her.
He lived out his fantasy of marrying MC through using Marion to change her name. A name that was to be his undoing.
Marion could have very easily travelled with him under her own name.
He went to great lengths to hide he was travelling under another name and separately to Marion at that time so it wouldn't have mattered that Marion would travel under Barter - she had only renewed her passport the year before under that name.
He wanted her to use that name Remakel for 2 reasons. To play out his fantasy and to make sure once he swindled her, any trace would go back to the Real FR. ( I think something between the real FR, MC and Ric Blum happened and he was determined to get square with FR for hurting his beloved MC).

With Marion returning ( I think she now did) so quickly, and just as JO did, realising something was very very wrong, I think she confronted Ric Blum using the number she had and he met her and killed her.

If she was just flying in to get money and sort out her accounts she would have done that immediately, the next day or so after arriving back home. But it was over a week before funds started moving from her accounts.

I think she came back to confront him and find out what was going on, maybe get authorities involved and then eventually head back overseas to do her trip on the Orient Express finally. Marion had no intention of opening a school overseas or leaving her family forever. That is a Ric Blum deflection.

I don't think it was Marion moving any money or visiting optometrists.

But regardless there are no happy outcomes.
None of it will bring Marion back to her family where she belongs.

This whole investigation began with an inquiry into a missing mum and has ended exposing the greatest psychopath Australia has known.

I want him to be remembered for the coward he is. For the Misogynist he is. For his singing testicle. I want him to always remember the humiliation he felt when Adam Casselden read out his life on that letter. I want him to always remember that Australia heard his humiliation and we all rejoiced in it.

And I want Marion to be the beacon for all vulnerable women going forward. To show them that there are predators out there that are married men with children of their own and who have no regard for their own family.

Ric Blum to you I say, you lost. We may not ever know where Marion is but YOU LOST.

I think she responded to his ad, otherwise it wouldn't be in his memory bank to say she did ( so many times lol )

I'm undecided as to whether it was Marion who withdrew the $80,000 from her bank account and visited an optometrist.

Agree, however they can't post old photos of him as he hasn't yet been charged with anything. I've always thought Marion's photo should have variations of hairstyle and colour which may have jogged someones memory. She may even have worn a blond wig when she came back. Lord knows what story he invented for secrecy.

But the beauty of that was we saw yet again what a liar he is as he said Marion had long hair and it was to the side when he saw her in Switzerland @Lord Peter Flimsy soon clarified that one for us all

when they lived in Belgium she claim she lived with his family for 2 years on Tournai, I don't think she was lying IMO, that is a long time to for a family to pretend they are someone they are not. IMO she clearly met then and knew them, she didn't have to think about her answers. JMO

Some theories are:

1. Marion answers Le Courrier ad.

• He stalks her and steals her wallet to see if she has anything worth stealing.

As a child of a narcissist, my researching this condition in psychiatric journals suggests narcissists will love their child if they see themselves in the child. Not a promising prospect...
