Just re the Switzerland story, the first thing that really stands out as nonsensical is that RB reckons MB was bored. How many 23 year old's from Australia in 1969 visiting Switzerland for a few days would find themselves bored .... come on!

Regarding RenovPubs. I hope I have interpreted this correctly, but when this website was accessed in April 2022 (and other times), the "Telecommunications (Interception and Access) Act 1979" COULD prove who was involved, when and from where (ISP), this occurred. Although there are privacy concerns, the Act could be enforced if it is part of an investigation and the Act COULD also provide foreign countries with this information should there be probable associated criminal activities.

Thanks for the update! Was this an announced podcast? Then i’ve missed it. Or do you guys think it’s an ‘extra’ after the previous hearing? Thanks for the updates about AUS stuff for the European people here, a few hours behind you guys! It was & is very appreciated!
It was on their Facebook page - I wasn't expecting another one !! Haven't listen to it yet but hopefully better than the last :-)

Yes that is correct. I dare say LE have all this.

Excellent work!!
Some of those fit like a glove. Is this why he procured the ID for CHAIM FREDERICK DeHEDERVARY? A nice Jewish name for a Jewish victim!
There’s also many ads women looking for companionship and friendship in the Jewish papers many of these ads would have appealed to him too

I agree. Unless she is a secret rebel who has a lifelong hatred and resentment of him that she's never acted on, or she's a happy fellow criminal, she'll be unable to form her own independent thoughts and would need de-programming in the same way as someone who's been in a cult all their life.

She doesn't ask questions, she has memory problems, and she has some sort of brain injury I seem to recall RB has contributed these 'facts' about her. At the very least he's seeking to undermine any statement she makes.
He sure is… not only gaslighting her privately but also publicly on the stand

@BonnieB @Eyespywithmylittleeye During the CI, RB was asked if he attended his mother’s funeral in Belgium? His reply, if I remember correctly, went something like this, he "was not told of her death until three days after, so it was too late to attend". This could mean that his mother was Jewish and by tradition, the burial would have taken place within 24 hours of death. Also, I doubt VERY much that his family were in contact with him at all, let alone him visiting them every time he travelled to Europe. With all their wealth (remembering the inheritance!) why didn't they ever visit him in Australia?

It could mean she was Jewish. RB said he received the call 2 days after her death and didn't have time to get there. Roman Catholic tradition is for burial to occur 3 days after death so could also be RC.

Does anyone know when photos of (young and middle aged) RB can be plastered all over the place? Like others here have said- could trigger memories.

In Belgium a lot of people were Catholic in those days, but the amount of days between death & service depended & depends more on when it’s possible for the funuralhome, the church & the family (for instance waiting for someone coming from abroad). More so than following their catholic habits… Just to give a bit of info about the habits in BE :) But anything is possible with him.

Wouldn't that be great if they could do that KinseyFan, probably legally out of the question at this point though with all the civil libertarians and all that gobbledygook. H'mm, maybe a way around it would be through the media. A news story like "Can You Help? We are looking for women who were scammed/conned by a tall Belgian, French speaking gentleman in the '90s, either through a personal ad or random meeting. We need your help. Call this number now, anonymity guaranteed. Phone .... " - - if you could get something like that in the media in Australia, on the news, Channel 7 could do it, and overseas too, with no mention of MB or RB. I don't know, that could be a way around it .... as Batman was fond of saying, "time is of the essence."

I'm more inclined to think that notifying him was more of an afterthought. "I suppose someone better let Willy know" kind of thing. His brother/cousin probably made a point of not telling him until it was too late IMO. I so hope LE has interviewed Desire.

Bernard Dupont is attacked in 1967 by 2 thugs in Brussels

Bernard Dupont does come to Aust with his wife Gisele showing French Tapestries in 1973

TAPESTRIES TO SYDNEY 1973 : The Sebert gallery — in the old building in the Argyle Center at Sydney had the opportunity to exhibit French works of art. Currently exhibits seventeen tapestries of art that are a retrospective by the Flemish master Gaspard De Wit, died in 1971 - tapestries flemish modern

…we are grateful to Gisele and Bernard Dupont Pty ltd who, with the Sebert gallery, brought these masterpieces in sydney…. they will be on display until the end of the month

No doubt where he got his Flemish Tapestry / Painting idea from

Gisele and Bernard Dupont

Found in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin, Domaine Dupont-Tisserandot is a fourth generation family estate which takes the name from Bernard Dupont who married the winery owner, Gisele Tisserandot, in 1954. Since 1999, Didier Chevillon, their daughter the husband of Patricia, has been in charge of winemaking........

Dupont-Tisserandot 23 ha owned and en fermage/en métayage - (23 ha owned and leased)
This is a large exploitation, and it still sells off some of its produce in bulk to the négoce. Bernard Dupont, who started the whole thing off in 1954 when he married Gisèle Tisserandot—he was a grocer before and was somewhat thrown in the deep end—is now en retraite. Responsibility has been ceded to his daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Didier Chevillon. Didier has been totally responsible for the wines since 1999........

Then we have a Bernard Dupont as a banker coming into Aust April 1970

So I ask myself WHY would a banker who is "showcasing rich tapestries in Sydney at a Gallery and connected to a French Winery" ...... be a banker and living in a unit. and not married...

Hi, I haven't re-listened and may be mistaken but I thought he said the funeral was to be held in two / three days and that didn't give him time to get there. The reason it stuck in my (and again, maybe I got it wrong in the first place) was because I thought to myself 'huh, surely you can get there within 36 hours even at short notice?'.

However, I also thought that maybe this was within the Jewish faith due to how the funeral was being held so swiftly.

Interesting stuff Mishy66. And what's extra interesting about BD is that RB said he was the bank manager at the PNB Paribus Bank. I seem to recall RB saying they only ever had Commonwealth Bank accounts, so just wondering where he met this bank Manager BD .... err, in a bank, per chance? I don't think it's RB's handwriting on the passenger card.

They may indeed be 2 people or even 4 people! Both DuPont and Bernard are extrêmement common names of that era in Francophone countries !
