I've been following for a while but haven't posted before. I came across this photo going down the Westbury rabbit hole, and can't stop looking at it. Does it bother anyone else?

I trust that Alison Sandy and Sally are behaving as they should regarding Mr Remakel and as directed by investigators. At this point one false move could jeopardize what Sally has worked so hard for. If Mr Remakel is fully innocent and a human being, I believe he would forgive anything of anyone, if a daughter could find justice for herself, her family, and her mother. Sally didn't hurt Mr Remakel, Wily Wonka did.

If it is a closed court does that mean that no one aside from the legal reps have access to the information?

It depends. Imagine for a bit, that we are in 'the before times' and don't have access to live stream. Inquests and other trials allow anyone to enter the court and watch. Sometimes the judge closes them after a request is made. There needs to be a good and valid reason for it.

It's typically about protecting the privacy of a witness if their testimony involves sensitive info (that makes it hard for a witness to reveal in front of an audience), other times it is so as not to 'influence public perception' and potentially compromise an existing or future trial. Sometimes they close it if it's a high profile case and they know the court will be packed, don't have room and don't want the frenzy, so they can focus on the actual evidence.

With a live stream, there will always be 'enough room' but there's a new problem... Typically you can't take photos or video in a courtroom. And live stream is exactly that... it throws the faces of witnesses and person of interest into the public sphere. Which comes with its own set of problems.

Who is allowed is dependent on the reason given and the judge. Sometimes they let journos in and only keep out public. Sometimes it's only those directly involved in court case. I'm pretty sure Alison and Sally said they will be there today and will be able to relay it all on the podcast.

Yes he did! But that also could be because it’s the first time he has done a high profile case that could potentially hit screens worldwide and become podcast etc. It would be such a weird feeling.

Now it’s saying it’s adjourned ? Not closed?

This is interesting! RB and DW have different lawyers! Sam Saadat is representing Dianne and the two kids.
Bridget Kennedy is representing Ric Blum (seen on day 1 of last week).
Casselden said there were many applications made and they will close court to hear them. There is hope yet!
