Tumbridge Wells was on of the places Marion visited, right?

I wonder if this witness beared a resemblance to Marion in those days

Can the inquest be extended if it goes over time? I have a feeling extracting information from this woman is going to take a while...

Kinda concerning that D just happened to forget she lived in the UK for 3 years. Deary deary me...

YES! This was where Marion spent the majority of her time per my recollection of the podcast!

Could someone please explain to my pea-brain why the furniture store keeps coming up? Was this part of his cons?

Oh no, ‘Chusan’ has nothing to do with Flemmish, Duth, Belgium,…

where did you read this?? A simple search will tell you it’s wrong (before you guys think i’m Willy :))

The Flemmish/Dutch/Belgian form of Susan is Suzanne. In rare cases it may be written differently, but not Chusan!!

If you look at pronunciation in the region, and say it phonetically, it is [ʃuzan]. Simple search.

Did she finally break him?

I actually really like Casselden. He's super patient and clear. :)

I'm a lawyer and so I'm justifying my watching of this as "professional development" haha. It's a really great evidence in chief.

PO Boxes in Lennox and Ballina in D's name that she didn't know about, perhaps?

His "family" owned furniture stores and he opened one in Lux

Adjourned for lunch.

Resumes at 2pm. An hour from now

I think I missed quite a lot. I kept refreshing the page every so often but looks like it didn't work.

But how does it tie into all of this? It seems to pop up often enough that it has to mean something MORE, right?

late to the party and a bit behind but ...

where is the money ???? - they don't seem to live the high life - 1 car and a house purchased with her inheritance ( although she just had to get that in there didn't she, obviously worried about having the house removed from her, not that stupid)

This makes me so sick he ruined women's lives for what ??

I like that anything that touches on Marion she has no clue about. Like even if it tangentially connects to to the case she suffers from the “duh huhs?” Almost like she knows what she definitely should not know.

She says she met him on ship Jan 1970 and he was in AU for about 3 months, yet we know he & IK left AU together on Feb 15 1970. Something doesn’t add up.

Can I just say that I want to have a tenth of the style that Kim Burke has at some point / any point in my life?
Yes. I have thought that too :D She seems like a very put together lady.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a lot that the wife doesn’t “know” about. Maybe an apartment or another house, and definitely a nice car somewhere. Maybe even something she’ll swear she was told was owned by one of his friends where they vacation… Sorry, I’m having trouble believing anything she says.
