If you take everything someone has - for example Marion, every penny she had and her home, and it looks like that is what he was aiming for with JO and GM - what is the person meant to do, they go to the police and family, he would have left his victims with no other option ( they have no house or money)- I think he has more victims that he silenced TBH, he doesn't seem to have the ability just to take some money and move on and have the person and police chalk it up to bad luck and a minor offence, he seems to want it all.

Unless Marion was the only person he got away with his full plan, the others all cottoned on at some stage and he only got a portion of what he was aiming for ?

I don't know just thinking out loud lol

What worries me is where are the victims from early 2000’s to now?

Regarding Andre / Abel / Abdel...

WW states in his passenger cards that his father was Abel Wouters.
Online genealogical sites say Maria Coppenolle was married to Andre Wouters (take these with a pinch of salt unless you see the documents with your own eyes)
DdH claims RB's adopted father was Andre Wouters.
Casselden pressed her further and asked 'not Abdel Florent?'
DdH said it was definitely Andre Wouters.

I don't know if Casselden meant to say Abdel or he had a brief lapse of dyslexia and meant Abel. In any case, there's clearly issues with RB's origin story.

Yes this is a speed bump for sure. It is very confusing.
The Gen Site I use to get the info from looked to be very thorough - it traces back some 8 generations. I agree though to human error on these documentations ( have done it myself when researching my own).
I do believe though that it is Andre Wouters as his stepfather.
Having said that Casselden must have documentation to show otherwise UNLESS he has documentation written by RB that shows another of his aliases with a parent Abdel Florent......


There IS though a family connection of Florent.

Did anyone else notice how RB in his police interview had stated he'd never heard of Ginette, while today DdH said that RB told her he did indeed know Ginette?

Yes but DdH story about G being a dancer/doing dancing overseas wasn’t quite right. Either RB lied to her about this (that’d be surprising ) or DdH is getting G mixed up with another victim that she knows of that we don’t know of… (yet).

I know this has always been a very unpopular opinion. But FR in Lux does have a long list of very dodgy "investment property and real estate" dealings. I don't agree with how the podcast went about it. But the man has shadiness around him.

Now that we know there is some sort of connection between FR/Aus and FR/Lux, things might start to get clearer. For all we know, FR/Lux is also a fake identity? Or they were accomplices who used the shared name to hide assets?

Nothing will surprise me in this story.

- Where do you keep your passport and other important documents?
- How did Ric earn a living?
- Did you ever receive a windfall of money?
- Did Ric ever gift you antiques or jewelry?
- When Ric was absent from the home, where did you believe he was going?
- Do you or Ric have friends/relatives in England?
- Did Ric ever suggest that you change your name?
- Did you ever post documents on Ric's behalf?
- Did Ric ever list anything in the classifieds? Which paper/s?
- Did you ever visit banks that you were unfamiliar with (at Ric's request)?
- Did Ric ever suggest that you bury your valuables for safekeeping?
- How many phones did you have in your home during the 90's?
- Was Ric ever involved in investing in rental properties? Were any of these sold?

We sleuthed FR/Lux for ages back when the podcast was featuring him as someone of interest and RB wasn't yet known. I'm not going to bring it all back up. You can search for it in this forum. It's within these 7 threads.

We don't really know the difference between FR/Aus and FR/Lux. We didn't know there were two of them! It could be that all the dodgy stuff is in fact RB? But there's a whole lot of names associated with the FR/Lux dealings, and we took them to be his family. They are all different names to the ones RB has around him.

I'd probably stay away from posting any FR/Lux stuff until we have a better idea if there is a link between the cases.

For now, it's just two dodgy men with the same name, living in Luxembourg, who shared an ex wife/lover. Wow you couldn't make this stuff up!

I thought so but I just wanted to check because it led me down another line of speculation earlier...

One thing that does lend to me the idea that RB had an accomplice is that if he left Aus before Marion, why didn't Marion want LL to take her to the airport? Unless it's because she knew her flight wasn't going to be direct and didn't want to raise questions about that (which doesn't seem 100% plausible to me), what was the reasoning?
