You can tell he doesn’t like spending his ‘own’ money. Having to pay for her one way airfare and train ticket from Dover Priory when dumping her there. That’s gone up with inflation too. JO said he gave her £60. And why the reluctance to say where they stayed in the UK after leaving Harwich to the Deal/Dover separation?

Because he probably “hits” the same areas on his trips, including the one with Marion.

Like the way he returned to Amsterdam to collect his suitcases before scooting back to Australia. He travels light you know. Was he concerned that JOs suitcases were also still at Amsterdam or was he being a Good Samaritan and took them back to Australia too?!

And the purpose of them travelling overseas was so she could get an agent.
Did RB give this as evidence..? Laughable if he did !!

Yes, he repeated it again today! Previously, he very haphazzardly said GGB was a dancer that wanted to go overseas to find an agent. But now he's well into his story that JO went overseas for the purpose of finding an agent and advancing her career on the stage. Next, he will probably try to say the same about Marion.

Not wanting to detract from the seriousness of the situation and how awful it must be for Sally but I’ve gone with Australian dream casting (for the inevitable Netflix movie):

Casselden - Eric Bana
Kim Burke - Toni Colette
Coroner - Jane Turner
Sally - Naomi Watts but also think a slightly aged up (no offence to Sally) new look dramatic Rebel Wilson would be interesting
The a*hole sounds exactly like French actor who does a lot of English speaking stuff Tcheky Karyo

I just hope we get, not so much a happy ending but an actual conclusion or resolution.

So Casselden was asking RB if he stayed overnight in Brisbane hotels before departing Australia on his trips. Then I rememebered this sequence of events...

June 22, 1997 - Lesley drove Marion to the bus station where she was dropped off with her luggage. The idea was that she would take a shuttle from the bus depot in Surfside, Queensland to the Brisbane airport. Lesley remembers her being happy and crying – but in an excited, sentimental way.

BUT, we learned at the 2021 inquest that Marion declined her sister Bronwen’s ride to the airport that day because, as Marion put it to Bronwen, she "wanted to spend a couple of nights at the hotel in Brisbane and get her head together because everything had been so rushed.”

We know that she did depart Australia on the 22nd of June and didn’t stay in the hotel, but it could be a connection to RB's M.O.

Amazingly I feel like we know less about him than when we started. So many complete and total fabrications that it just makes me question what we thought we knew. I mean, the core of him is a vile murderous conman, but at this point I’m questioning if he ever was born.

Enter the CSI theme song, “Who are you, who who, who who”… quite fitting really.

Actually, this could work! Initial reports from Sally and podcast had Marion getting dropped off at bus stop on the 22. But when they found passenger cards, it was amended to the 23 as that was the flight date. Maybe SHE DID spend a night in a hotel with him  Awesome pick up!

All women are to him are people he can dominate and control when he loses that control he gaslights them.. he’s a woman hater with mummy issues as far as I’m concerned.. aside from being a narcissistic grandiose compulsive liar and straight out nut case

tbh I'm starting to believe she did do the belly dancing  (I'm about 12 mins behind atm)

lmfao the lady working with Casselden's face when he says he was bewitched, absolutely classic.

I feel like the belly dancing probably happened, but I'm not sure she actually wanted to make a career out of it lol
Maybe she was trying anything she could to ‘raise the dead’ so to speak, or should I say raise the widdle blue bits - gotta give her some credit, it was worth a try.

If con men like to add little truth before lying.
I wonder if it was possible he was a photographer in Switzerland when the socceroos were there.
I've tried to search for photos and photographers but only get stock images.

I also don't think he pulls these names out of the hat.
I wonder if they are either football or art related.

I think they are all men who he has met and who he felt slighted him in some way. Think he enjoys thinking he put one over on them. He can’t con THEM, but he can use them in his cons.
